وَٱلَّذِينَ يُصَدِّقُونَ بِيَوْمِ ٱلدِّينِ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And those who believe the Day of Judgment to be a reality,

اور وہ لوگ جو جزا سزا کے دن کی تصدیق کرتے ہیں۔

Et ceux qui attestent que le Jour du Jugement est une réalité,

اور جو لوگ جزا سزا کے دن کی تصدیق کرتے ہیں۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

And those who believe in the Day of Judgment[3125A] to be a reality;

There could be no real sense of responsibility without a true and living belief in the Hereafter. This belief is the second cardinal belief of Islam, next to belief in the existence of God.

English - Five Volume Translation

[d]And those who believe in the Day of Judgement to be a reality,[4378]

37:53-54.

Commentary:

There can be no real sense of responsibility without a true and living belief in the Hereafter when man shall have to render account of his actions to his Lord and Creator. Belief in the Hereafter is the second cardinal belief of Islam, next to belief in the existence of God.
