قَالَ نُوۡحٌ رَّبِّ اِنَّہُمۡ عَصَوۡنِیۡ وَاتَّبَعُوۡا مَنۡ لَّمۡ یَزِدۡہُ مَالُہٗ وَوَلَدُہٗۤ اِلَّا خَسَارًا

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

Noah said, “My Lord, they have disobeyed me, and followed one whose wealth and children have only added to his ruin.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

نوح نے کہا اے میرے ربّ! یقیناً انہوں نے میری نافرمانی کی اور اُس کی پیروی کی جسے اس کے مال اور اولاد نے گھاٹے کے سوا اور کسی چیز میں نہ بڑھایا۔

French

Noé dit : « Mon Seigneur, certainement ils m’ont désobéi, et ils ont suivi quelqu’un dont les biens et les enfants n’ont fait qu’ajouter à sa perte.

Noah sprach: "Mein Herr, sie haben mir nicht gehorcht und sind einem gefolgt, dessen Reichtum und Kinder nur seinen Verlust gemehrt haben.

努哈说: “我的养主啊! 他们违背了我, 而顺从了那个人--------他的财富和子女只增加了他(精神的)毁灭。

Noè disse: «Signore mio, mi hanno disobbedito, per seguire uno i cui beni e figli non hanno fatto che accrescere le sue perdite.

Spanish

Noé dijo: “Señor mío: me han desobedecido y han seguido a aquel cuya riqueza e hijos no han hecho más que aumentar su ruina”.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

پھر نوح نے کہا‘ اے میرے رب! انہوں نے میری نافرمانی کی ہے اور (میری بجائے) اس کے پیچھے چل پڑے ہیں جس کا مال اور اولاد اس کو روحانی گھاٹے میں بڑھاتا گیا۔

Then Noah said, ‘My Lord, they have disobeyed me, and followed one whose wealth and children have only added to his loss.

Noah said, ‘My Lord, they have disobeyed[d] and followed one whose wealth and children have only added to his ruin.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

نوحؑ نے کہا، "میرے رب، اُنہوں نے میری بات رد کر دی اور اُن (رئیسوں) کی پیروی کی جو مال اور اولاد پا کر اور زیادہ نامراد ہو گئے ہیں

Noah said, "My Lord, indeed they have disobeyed me and followed him whose wealth and children will not increase him except in loss.

نوح نے کہا اے میرے رب بے شک انہوں نے میرا کہنا نہ مانا اور اس کو مانا جس کو اس کے مال اور اولاد نے نقصان کے سوا کچھ بھی فائد نہں دیا
