وَمَا جَعَلَهُ ٱللَّهُ إِلَّا بُشْرَىٰ وَلِتَطْمَئِنَّ بِهِۦ قُلُوبُكُمْ ۚ وَمَا ٱلنَّصْرُ إِلَّا مِنْ عِندِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ
3:127.
یعنی یہ مرادنہ تھی کہ سچ مچ فرشتے ان کفار سے جنگ کریں گے۔ بلکہ فرشتوں کی مدد اگر کشف میں دیکھی جائے تو اس کا مطلب یہ ہوتا ہے کہ خداتعالیٰ مدد کرے گا اور اس طرح مومن کو بشارت مل جاتی ہے۔

Commentary:
See note on 3:127. As an intermediary means is sometimes likely to be confused with the real source of help which is God Almighty, the Quran takes particular care to remind Muslims that the real source of all help and all power is God alone.
