9:121

وَلَا یُنۡفِقُوۡنَ نَفَقَۃً صَغِیۡرَۃً وَّلَا کَبِیۡرَۃً وَّلَا یَقۡطَعُوۡنَ وَادِیًا اِلَّا کُتِبَ لَہُمۡ لِیَجۡزِیَہُمُ اللّٰہُ اَحۡسَنَ مَا کَانُوۡا یَعۡمَلُوۡنَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And they spend not any sum, small or great, nor do they traverse a valley, but it is written down for them, that Allah may give them the best reward for what they did.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اسی طرح وہ نہ کوئی چھوٹا خرچ کرتے ہیں اور نہ کوئی بڑا اور نہ ہی کسی وادی کی مسافت طے کرتے ہیں مگر (یہ فعل) ان کے حق میں لکھ دیا جاتا ہے۔ تاکہ جو بہترین اعمال وہ کیا کرتے تھے اللہ اُنہیں ان کے مطابق جزا دے۔

French

Et ils ne dépensent aucune somme, petite ou grosse, ni ne traversent aucune vallée, sans que leur action ne soit inscrite à leur avantage, afin qu’Allāh puisse les récompenser selon la meilleure de leurs oeuvres.

German

Und sie spenden keine Summe, sei sie groß oder klein, und sie durchziehen kein Tal, ohne dass es ihnen angeschrieben würde, auf dass Allah ihnen den besten Lohn gebe für das, was sie getan.

Chinese

他们 (在安拉道上) 或多或少的消费和横过任何山谷, 都 (马上) 被记为 (他们的善功), 以便 [a]安拉赐给他们行为最好的报酬。

Italian

Ed essi non spendono alcuna somma, né piccola né ingente, né traversano una valle senza che sia ascritto a loro credito, affinché Allah possa dar loro la migliore ricompensa per il loro operato.

Spanish

Pues no gastan ninguna suma, grande o pequeña, ni atraviesan un valle, sin que quede escrito para ellos, para que Al-lah pueda darles la mejor de las recompensas por lo que hicieron.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور وہ اللہ کی راہ میں کوئی چھوٹا سا خرچ بھی نہیں کرتے اور نہ بڑا اور نہ کسی وادی کو طے کرتے ہیں مگر (معاً ان کے اعمال میں وہ نیک کام) لکھ لیا جاتا ہے تا کہ اللہ ان کے عملوں کا (اعلیٰ سے) اعلیٰ بدلہ دے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

And they spend not any sum, small or great, nor do they traverse a valley, but it is written down for them, among their good works, that [b]Allah may give them the best reward for what they did.

And they spend not any sum, small or great, nor do they traverse a valley, but it is written down for them, that [a]Allah may give them the best reward for what they did.[1268]

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

اسی طرح یہ بھی کبھی نہ ہوگا کہ (راہ خدا میں) تھوڑا یا بہت کوئی خرچ وہ اٹھائیں اور (سعی جہاد میں) کوئی وادی وہ پار کریں اور ان کے حق میں اسے لکھ نہ لیا جائے تاکہ اللہ ان کے اس اچھے کارنامے کا صلہ انہیں عطا کرے

English - Sahih

Nor do they spend an expenditure, small or large, or cross a valley but that it is registered for them that Allah may reward them for the best of what they were doing.

اور جو وہ تھوڑا یا بہت خرچ کرتے ہیں یا کوئی میدان طے کرتے ہیں تو یہ سب کچھ ان کے لیے لکھ لیا جاتا ہے تاکہ الله انہیں ان کے اعمال کا اچھا بدلہ دے

English - Talal Itani

And not they spend any spending small and not big, and not they cross a valley but is recorded for them, that Allah may reward them the best (of) what they used (to) do.

English - Arberry

Nor do they expend any sum, small or great, nor do they traverse any valley, but it is written to their account, that God may recompense them the best of what they were doing.

Likewise, each amount they spend, be it small or large, and each journey they undertake, shall be recorded in their favour so that Allah may bestow upon them reward for their good deeds.

There is not a sum, large or small, that they spend, not a piece of land that they traverse (in the service of God) which is not put down in their favour, so that God could reward them for what they had done.

Nor could they spend anything (for the cause) - small or great- nor cut across a valley, but the deed is inscribed to their credit: that Allah may requite their deed with the best (possible reward).
