9:51

قُل لَّنۡ یُّصِیۡبَنَاۤ اِلَّا مَا کَتَبَ اللّٰہُ لَنَا ہُوَ مَوۡلٰٮنَا ۚ وَعَلَی اللّٰہِ فَلۡیَتَوَکَّلِ الۡمُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

Say, ‘Nothing shall befall us save that which Allah has ordained for us. He is our Protector. And in Allah then should the believers put their trust.’

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

تُو (ان سے) کہہ دے کہ ہمیں تو کوئی مصیبت نہیں پہنچے گی سوائے اُس کے جو اللہ نے ہمارے لئے لکھ رکھی ہے۔ وہی ہمارا مولا ہے۔ پس چاہئے کہ اللہ پر ہی مومن توکل کریں۔

French

Dis : « Aucun malheur ne nous surviendra sauf ce qu’Allāh a décrété pour nous. Il est notre Protecteur. Et c’est en Allāh que les croyants doivent mettre leur confiance. »

German

Sprich: "Nichts kann uns treffen als das, was Allah uns bestimmt hat. Er ist unser Beschützer. Und auf Allah sollten die Gläubigen vertrauen."

Chinese

你(对他们) 说: “只有安拉为我们注定了的才能及于我们, 他是我们的保护者。信仰的人只当信赖安拉。”

Italian

Di': «Nulla ci capiterà, se non ciò che Allah ha stabilito per noi. Egli è il nostro Protettore. E in Allah i credenti dovrebbero dunque riporre la loro fiducia.»

Spanish

Diles: “No nos sucederá nada salvo lo que Al-lah haya ordenado para nosotros. Él es nuestro Protector y en Al-lah deben, pues, poner su confianza los creyentes”.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

تُو (ان سے) کہہ دے‘ ہم کو تو وہی پہنچتا ہے جو اللہ نے ہمارے لئے مقرر کر چھوڑا ہے وہ ہمارا کارساز ہے اور مومنوں کو چاہیے کہ وہ اللہ پر ہی توکل رکھیں۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

Say, ‘Nothing shall befall us save that which Allah has ordained for us. He is our Protector. And in Allah then should the believers put their trust.’

English - Five Volume Translation

Say, ‘Nothing shall befall us save that which Allah has ordained for us. He is our Protector. And in Allah then should the believers put their trust.’[1207]

Commentary:

The expression, save that which Allah has ordained for us, means that victory as ordained by God will always be attained, however great the intervening difficulties. The words that follow, viz. He is our Protector, support this interpretation and also 58:22 which says, Allah has decreed: Of a certainty I will prevail, and My Messengers.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

ان سے کہو "ہمیں ہرگز کوئی (برائی یا بھلائی) نہیں پہنچتی مگر وہ جو اللہ نے ہمارے لیے لکھ دی ہے اللہ ہی ہمارا مولیٰ ہے، اور اہل ایمان کو اسی پر بھروسہ کرنا چاہیے"

English - Sahih

Say, "Never will we be struck except by what Allah has decreed for us; He is our protector." And upon Allah let the believers rely.

اردو ترجمہ احمد علی

کہہ دو ہمیں ہر گز نہ پہنچے گا مگر وہی جو الله نے ہمارے لیے لکھ دیا وہی ہمارا کارساز ہے اور الله ہی پر چاہیئے کہ مومن بھروسہ کریں

English - Talal Itani

Say, "Never will befall us except what Allah has decreed for us, He (is) our Protector." And on Allah [so] let the believers put (their) trust.

Say: 'Naught shall visit us but what God has prescribed for us; He is our Protector; in God let the believers put all their trust.'

English - Maududi

Say: "Nothing will befall us except what Allah has decreed for us; He is our Protector." Let the believers, then, put all their trust in Allah.

Tell them: "Nothing can befall us except what God decrees. Our protector is He, and in God should the faithful place their trust."

English - Yusuf Ali

Say: "Nothing will happen to us except what Allah has decreed for us: He is our protector": and on Allah let the Believers put their trust.
