إِلَّا ٱبْتِغَآءَ وَجْهِ رَبِّهِ ٱلْأَعْلَىٰ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

Except that he gives his wealth to seek the pleasure of his Lord, the Most High.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

(یہ) محض اپنے ربّ ِ اعلیٰ کی خوشنودی چاہتے ہوئے (خرچ کرتا ہے)۔

French

Sauf qu’il donne ses richesses pour rechercher le plaisir de son Seigneur, le Plus-Haut.

German

dennoch (gibt er seinen Reichtum hin) im Trachten nach dem Wohlgefallen seines Herrn, des Höchsten.

Chinese

(施舍的目的) 只是为了获得他最崇高养主的喜悦。[1719]

走正道的信者向他人行善, 不求从他们得到恩惠, 而是渴望有益于安拉的创造物, 最终赢得他的养主的喜悦。

ma soltanto per cercare il compiacimento del suo Signore, l'Eccelso.

Spanish

Excepto que entrega su riqueza para buscar el agrado de su Señor, el Altísimo.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

ہاں مگر اپنے عالی شان رب کی خوشنودی حاصل کرنا (اس کا مقصود ہوتا ہے)

English - Short Commentary Translation

But solely to seek the pleasure of his Lord, the Most High.[3371]

The righteous believer does good to others, not in return for any good received from them but only actuated by a desire to be of use to God’s creatures and to win the pleasure of his Heavenly Lord and Master.

English - Five Volume Translation

Except that he gives his wealth to seek the pleasure of his Lord, the Most High.[4761]

Commentary:

The righteous believer does good to others not in return for any good received from them but actuated by a desire to be of use to God’s creatures and to win the pleasure of his heavenly Lord and Master.

وہ تو صرف اپنے رب برتر کی رضا جوئی کے لیے یہ کام کرتا ہے

English - Sahih

But only seeking the countenance of his Lord, Most High.
