وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَن يَشْرِى نَفْسَهُ ٱبْتِغَآءَ مَرْضَاتِ ٱللَّهِ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ رَءُوفٌۢ بِٱلْعِبَادِ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
And of men there is he who would sell himself to seek the pleasure of Allah; and Allah is Compassionate to His servants.
2:263

ٱلَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ أَمْوَٰلَهُمْ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ثُمَّ لَا يُتْبِعُونَ مَآ أَنفَقُوا۟ مَنًّا وَلَآ أَذًى ۙ لَّهُمْ أَجْرُهُمْ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ وَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ

Allah / Spend In The Way OfFear (Khauf)Fear / No On The BelieversJaza’ / Recompense / Of Believers, Of RighteousMoral Traits / SelflessnessSpending (Nafaqah) / By BelieversSpending (Nafaqah) / Rewards OfWealth / Spend In Allah’s Way

They who spend their wealth for the cause of Allah, then follow not up what they have spent with taunt or injury, for them is their reward with their Lord, and they shall have no fear, nor shall they grieve.
11:52

يَٰقَوْمِ لَآ أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ أَجْرًا ۖ إِنْ أَجْرِىَ إِلَّا عَلَى ٱلَّذِى فَطَرَنِىٓ ۚ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ

Jaza’ / Recompense / With AllahMoral Traits / Selflessness‘Ad / People Of / Story OfHud(as) / Story Of
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
‘O my people, I do not ask of you any reward therefor. My reward is not due except from Him Who created me. Will you not then understand?
59:10

وَٱلَّذِينَ تَبَوَّءُو ٱلدَّارَ وَٱلْإِيمَٰنَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ يُحِبُّونَ مَنْ هَاجَرَ إِلَيْهِمْ وَلَا يَجِدُونَ فِى صُدُورِهِمْ حَاجَةً مِّمَّآ أُوتُوا۟ وَيُؤْثِرُونَ عَلَىٰٓ أَنفُسِهِمْ وَلَوْ كَانَ بِهِمْ خَصَاصَةٌ ۚ وَمَن يُوقَ شُحَّ نَفْسِهِۦ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ

And those who had established their home in this city before them and had accepted faith, love those who came to them for refuge, and find not in their breasts any desire for that which is given them (Refugees), but prefer the Refugees to themselves, even though poverty be their own lot. And whoso is rid of the covetousness of his own soul — it is these who will be successful.
64:17

فَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ مَا ٱسْتَطَعْتُمْ وَٱسْمَعُوا۟ وَأَطِيعُوا۟ وَأَنفِقُوا۟ خَيْرًا لِّأَنفُسِكُمْ ۗ وَمَن يُوقَ شُحَّ نَفْسِهِۦ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ

Allah / Spend In The Way OfDuty / Towards AllahMoral Traits / NiggardlinessMoral Traits / SelflessnessObey / Allah, MessengerSpending (Nafaqah) / By BelieversSuccess (Falah), Believers, Obedient, Shall AchieveWealth / Love Of, A Trial

So fear Allah as best you can, and listen, and obey, and spend in His cause; it will be good for yourselves. And whoso is rid of the covetousness of his own soul — it is such who shall be successful.
76:9

وَيُطْعِمُونَ ٱلطَّعَامَ عَلَىٰ حُبِّهِۦ مِسْكِينًا وَيَتِيمًا وَأَسِيرًا

Alms (Sadaqah) / Give Your To Poor, NeedyCaptives (Asir)Food (Ta‘am) / For PoorMoral Traits / Feeding The HungryMoral Traits / KindnessMoral Traits / SelflessnessOrphans (Yatim) / Welfare OfWar (Qital) / Prisoners Of

And they feed, for love of Him, the poor, the orphan, and the prisoner,
76:10

إِنَّمَا نُطْعِمُكُمْ لِوَجْهِ ٱللَّهِ لَا نُرِيدُ مِنكُمْ جَزَآءً وَلَا شُكُورًا

Jaza’ / Recompense / With AllahMoral Traits / Selflessness

Saying, ‘We feed you for Allah’s pleasure only. We desire no reward nor thanks from you.
92:20

وَمَا لِأَحَدٍ عِندَهُۥ مِن نِّعْمَةٍ تُجْزَىٰٓ

And he owes no favour to anyone, which is to be repaid,
92:21
