فَاسۡتَجَبۡنَا لَہٗ وَوَہَبۡنَا لَہٗ یَحۡیٰی وَاَصۡلَحۡنَا لَہٗ زَوۡجَہٗۤ ۚ اِنَّہُمۡ کَانُوۡا یُسٰرِعُوۡنَ فِی الۡخَیۡرٰتِ وَیَدۡعُوۡنَنَا رَغَبًا وَّرَہَبًا ۖ وَّکَانُوۡا لَنَا خٰشِعِیۡنَ
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
So We heard his prayer and bestowed upon him John and cured his wife for him. They used to vie with one another in good works and they called on Us in hope and in fear, and they humbled themselves before Us.
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
پس ہم نے اس کی دعا کو قبول کیا اور اسے یحییٰ عطا کیا اور ہم نے اس کی بیوی کو اس کی خاطر تندرست کر دیا۔ یقیناً وہ نیکیوں میں بہت بڑھ چڑھ کر حصہ لینے والے تھے اور ہمیں چاہت اور خوف سے پکارا کرتے تھے اور ہمارے سامنے عاجزی سے جھکنے والے تھے۔
French
Aussi Nous entendîmes sa prière et Nous lui accordâmes Jean-Baptiste, et Nous guérîmes sa femme pour lui. Assurément, ils se hâtaient à qui mieux mieux à faire de bonnes œuvres, et ils Nous invoquaient dans l’espoir et la crainte, et ils étaient humbles devant Nous.

Da erhörten Wir ihn und schenkten ihm Johannes und heilten ihm sein Weib. Sie pflegten miteinander zu wetteifern in guten Taten und sie riefen Uns an in Hoffnung und in Furcht und waren demütig vor Uns.

Così Noi demmo ascolto alla sua preghiera e gli concedemmo Giovanni e guarimmo sua moglie per lui. Essi usavano gareggiare tra loro in opere buone e Ci invocarono con speranza e timore, e si umiliavano davanti a Noi.

Oímos pues su oración y le concedimos a Juan y curamos a su mujer para él. Solían emularse mutuamente en las buenas acciones y nos invocaron con esperanza y temor, humillándose ante Nosotros.
اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
اور ہم نے اس کی دعا کو سنا اور اس کو یحییٰ عطا کیا اور اس کی بیوی کو اس کی خاطر تندرست کر دیا۔ وہ سب لوگ نیکیوں میں جلدی کرتے تھے اور ہم کو محبت اور خوف سے پکارتے تھے اور ہماری خاطر عجز کی زندگی بسر کرتے تھے۔

Commentary:
The verse shows that from a spiritual point of view Zachariah’s family was an ideal one.
اردو ترجمہ مودودی
پس ہم نے اس کی دُعا قبول کی اور اسے یحییٰ عطا کیا اور اس کی بیوی کو اس کے لیے درست کر دیا یہ لوگ نیکی کے کاموں میں دَوڑ دھوپ کرتے تھے اور ہمیں رغبت اور خوف کے ساتھ پکارتے تھے، اور ہمارے آگے جھکے ہوئے تھے
English - Sahih
So We responded to him, and We gave to him John, and amended for him his wife. Indeed, they used to hasten to good deeds and supplicate Us in hope and fear, and they were to Us humbly submissive.

پھر ہم نے اس کی دعا قبول کی اور اسے یحییٰ عطا کیا اور اس کے لیے اس کی بیوی کو درست کر دیا بے شک یہ لوگ نیک کاموں میں دوڑ پڑتے تھے اور ہمیں امید اور ڈر سے پکارا کرتے تھے اور ہمارے سامنے عاجزی کرنے والے تھے

English - Arberry
So We answered him, and bestowed on him John, and We set his wife right for him; truly they vied with one another, hastening to good works, and called upon Us out of yearning and awe; and they were humble to Us.

So We accepted his prayer and bestowed upon him John, and We made his wife fit (to bear a child). Verily they hastened in doing good works and called upon Us with longing and fear, and humbled themselves to Us.
