English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

‘This is a host of yours rushing headlong with you, O leaders of mischief.’ No welcome for them. They must burn in the Fire.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

یہ وہ لشکر ہے جو تمہارے ساتھ (اس میں) داخل ہونے والا ہے۔ ان کے لئے کوئی مرحبا نہیں۔ یقیناً وہ آگ میں داخل ہونے والے ہیں۔

Il sera dit aux chefs de la mécréance : « Voici une armée s’ y précipitant avec vous. Il n’y a aucun accueil pour eux. Ils doivent brûler dans le Feu. »

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

(ان میں سے ایک جماعت ایک پہلی جماعت کی طرف اشارہ کرکے کہے گی) یہ بھی ایک گروہ ہے جو تمہارے ساتھ جہنم میں داخل ہوگا (اور) ان کو کوئی خوش آمدید کہنے والا نہ ہوگا وہ ضرور جہنم میں داخل ہونگے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

It will be said to the leaders of disbelief: ‘This is an army [a]rushing headlong[2546] with you. No welcome for them. They shall burn in the Fire.

52:14.

When the leaders of disbelief will see a party of their followers coming to Hell, they will be told that a host of their followers will also enter into fire along with them. As the latter rushed to follow their leaders blindly and unthinkingly rejected truth, so they will enter Hell rushing headlong.

Important Words:

مقتحم (rushing headlong) is derived from قحم. They say قحم فی الامر i.e. he entered into the affair without consideration. اقتحم الامر means, he threw himself into the affair with vehemence and difficulty.

Commentary:

When leaders of disbelief will go to Hell, they will be told that a host of their followers will also enter into fire along with them. As the latter rushed to follow their leaders blindly and unthinkingly rejecting truth, so they will enter Hell rushing headlong.

The words لامرحباً بھم (no welcome for them) may be taken as having been spoken by the angels in charge of Hell or by the leaders of disbelief who would already be in Hell.

(وہ جہنم کی طرف اپنے پیروؤں کو آتے دیکھ کر آپس میں کہیں گے) "یہ ایک لشکر تمہارے پاس گھسا چلا آ رہا ہے، کوئی خوش آمدید اِن کے لیے نہیں ہے، یہ آگ میں جھلسنے والے ہیں"

[Its inhabitants will say], "This is a company bursting in with you. No welcome for them. Indeed, they will burn in the Fire."
