ذَٰلِكَ جَزَيْنَٰهُم بِمَا كَفَرُوا۟ ۖ وَهَلْ نُجَٰزِىٓ إِلَّا ٱلْكَفُورَ
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
That We awarded them because of their ingratitude; and none do We requite in this way but the ungrateful.
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
یہ جزا ہم نے ان کو اس سبب سے دی کہ انہوں نے ناشکری کی۔اور کیا سخت ناشکرے کے سوا بھی ہم کسی کو (ایسی) جزا دیتے ہیں؟
French
Nous les rétribuâmes ainsi à cause de leur ingratitude ; et il n’y a que les ingrats que Nous rétribuons de cette manière-ci.

Solches gaben Wir ihnen zum Lohn für ihre Undankbarkeit; und so lohnen Wir es keinem als den Undankbaren.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
یہ سزا ہم نے ان کو ان کی ناشکری کی وجہ سے دی تھی اور ناشکروں کو ہی ہم ایسا بدلہ دیا کرتے ہیں۔
English - Short Commentary Translation
Thus We requited them because of their ingratitude; and it is only the ungrateful that We requite in this manner.
English - Five Volume Translation
That We requited them because of their ingratitude; and none do We requite in this manner but the ungrateful.[3144]
Commentary:
This is how the ungrateful and the wicked are punished and the mighty are laid low. The verse constitutes a standing warning to Muslims to be on their guard against ingratitude and defiance of Divine commandments.
اردو ترجمہ مودودی
یہ تھا ان کے کفر کا بدلہ جو ہم نے ان کو دیا، اور ناشکرے انسان کے سوا ایسا بدلہ ہم اور کسی کو نہیں دیتے

[By] that We repaid them because they disbelieved. And do We [thus] repay except the ungrateful?
