نُمَتِّعُہُمۡ قَلِیۡلًا ثُمَّ نَضۡطَرُّہُمۡ اِلٰی عَذَابٍ غَلِیۡظٍ

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
ہم ان کو کچھ عرصہ تک دنیوی فائدہ پہنچائیں گے۔ پھر ہم ان کو مجبور کرکے بڑے سخت عذاب[5] کی طرف لے جائیں گے۔
قرآن مجید میں لفظ غلیظ ہے جس کا ترجمہ اردو میں ’’گاڑھا‘‘ ہوتا ہے۔ مگر اردو میں ’’گاڑھا عذاب‘‘ نہیں کہتے۔ ’’سخت عذاب‘‘ کہتے ہیں۔ عربی میں ’’گاڑھا عذاب‘‘ کہتے ہیں یعنی ایسا عذاب جس میں سے آدمی نکل نہ سکے۔ اس لئے ہم نے ترجمہ ’’سخت عذاب‘‘ کیا ہے۔

قرآن مجید میں لفظ غلیظ ہے جس کا ترجمہ اردو میں ’’گاڑھا‘‘ ہوتا ہے۔ مگر اردو میں ’’گاڑھا عذاب‘‘ نہیں کہتے۔ ’’سخت عذاب‘‘ کہتے ہیں۔ عربی میں ’’گاڑھا عذاب‘‘ کہتے ہیں یعنی ایسا عذاب جس میں سے آدمی نکل نہ سکے۔ اس لئے ہم نے ترجمہ ’’سخت عذاب‘‘ کیا ہے۔
