پس اس نے ان سے منہ موڑ لیا اور کہا اے میری قوم! یقیناً میں تمہیں اپنے ربّ کا پیغام پہنچا چکا ہوں اور تمہیں نصیحت کر چکا ہوں لیکن تم نصیحت کرنے والوں کو پسند نہیں کرتے۔

Ensuite, Ṣāliḥ se détourna d’eux et dit : « Ô mon peuple, je vous ai transmis le Message de mon Seigneur, et je vous ai donné des conseils sincères, mais vous n’aimez pas les conseillers sincères. »

تب صالح ان (یعنی اپنی قوم کے لوگوں) کو چھوڑ کر دوسری طرف چل دیا اور کہا اے میری قوم! میں نے تم کو اپنے رب کا پیغام پہنچا دیا تھا اور تمہاری خیر خواہی کی باتیں تم سے کہہ دی تھیں لیکن تم لوگ خیر خواہوں کو پسند نہیں کرتے۔

اور صالحؑ یہ کہتا ہوا ان کی بستیوں سے نکل گیا کہ "اے میری قوم، میں نے اپنے رب کا پیغام تجھے پہنچا دیا اور میں نے تیری بہت خیر خواہی کی، مگر میں کیا کروں کہ تجھے اپنے خیر خواہ پسند ہی نہیں ہیں"

اور ایک شخص شہر کے پرلے کنارے سے دوڑتا ہوا آیا۔ اس نے کہا اے موسیٰ! یقیناً سردار تیرے خلاف منصوبہ بنا رہے ہیں کہ تجھے قتل کر دیں۔ پس نکل بھاگ۔ یقیناً میں تیری بھلائی چاہنے والوں میں سے ہوں۔

Et un homme accourut de l’autre bout de la ville. Il dit : « Ô Moïse, en vérité les chefs se concertent contre toi pour te tuer. Donc quitte la ville ; assurément, je suis de ceux qui te veulent du bien. »

Da kam ein Mann von dem äußersten Ende der Stadt gelaufen. Er sprach: "O Mose, die Häupter beraten sich gegen dich, um dich zu töten. Darum mache dich fort, ich bin dir ein aufrichtiger Freund."

اور اس وقت ایک شخص شہر کے دور کے حصہ سے دوڑتا ہوا آیا اور کہا اے موسیٰ (ملک کے) رؤسا مشورہ کر رہے ہیں کہ تجھے قتل کر دیں[3]۔ پس (میری بات سن اور) اس شہر سے نکل جا‘ میں تیرے خیر خواہوں میں سے ہوں۔
یعنی کسی طرح کل کے واقعہ کی بھنک ان کے کان میں پڑ گئی ہے۔ معلوم ہوتا ہے یہ شخص موسیٰ کے ہم خیالوں اور دوستوں میں سے تھا۔

And there came a man from the far side of the city, running. He said, ‘O Moses, of a truth, the chiefs are taking counsel together against thee to kill thee. Therefore get thee away; surely, I am of thy well-wishers.’[2892]
Commentary:
The implied reference in the verse is to the counsel that the leaders of Mecca had held to kill the Holy Prophet. But whereas Moses was informed of the designs of the Egyptian chiefs by a well-wisher of his, as the verse under comment says, the Holy Prophet was made aware of the evil designs of the Quraishite leaders against him by God Himself (8:31).

اس کے بعد ایک آدمی شہر کے پرلے سِرے سے دَوڑتا ہوا آیا اور بولا "موسیٰؑ، سرداروں میں تیرے قتل کے مشورے ہو رہے ہیں، یہاں سے نکل جا، میں تیرا خیر خواہ ہوں"

Commentary:
