وہ جانتا ہے جو زمین میں داخل ہوتا ہے اور جو اُس سے نکلتا ہے اور جو آسمان سے اترتا ہے اور جو اس میں چڑھ جاتا ہے۔ اور وہ بار بار رحم کرنے والا (اور) بہت بخشنے والا ہے۔

Él conoce lo que penetra en la tierra y lo que procede de ella, cuanto desciende del cielo y cuanto a él sube; pues Él es Misericordioso, Sumo Indulgente.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

جو کچھ زمین میں داخل[3] ہوتا ہے اسے بھی وہ جانتا ہے اور جو کچھ اس سے نکلتا ہے‘ اسے بھی جانتا ہے نیز اسے بھی جو آسمان سے اترتا ہے اور اسے بھی جو آسمان کی طرف چڑھتا ہے اور وہ باربار رحم کرنے والا (اور) بہت بخشنے والا ہے۔

یعنی زمین کے اندر رہنے والے جانوروں اور اس سے نکلنے والے جانوروں سب کو جانتا ہے اسی طرح تنزل کرنے والی قوموں کو بھی جانتا ہے جو اوپر سے نیچے گر رہی ہوتی ہیں اور ترقی کرنے والی قوموں کو بھی جانتا ہے جو گویا زمین سے آسمان کی طرف جا رہی ہوتی ہیں۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

[b]He knows whatever goes into the earth and whatever comes forth from it, and whatever descends from the heaven and whatever ascends into it;[2376] and He is Merciful, Most Forgiving.

57:5.

The words, 'His is all praise in the Hereafter' refer to the time when Islam again will become triumphant after its temporary decline. The allusion in this verse is to the subject dealt with in 32:6. It signifies that it is God alone Who knows what kind of teaching is needed in a particular age. Similarly, it is He who knows when to take back to heaven the teaching which had descended from it, after it has been corrupted by the people, just as He takes water back to heaven in the form of vapours after it becomes corrupt, and sends it down in a purified form in the shape of rain. The words, 'whatever goes into the earth and whatever comes forth from it,' may also signify that whatever man shall sow, so shall he reap. Good actions produce good results and bad deeds lead to evil consequences. The verse may also be taken as signifying that God is aware of every phenomenon and every event, including the rise and fall of nations.

[b]He knows whatever goes into the earth and whatever comes forth from it, and whatever descends from the heaven and whatever ascends into it; and He is Merciful, Most Forgiving.[3132]

57:5.

Commentary:

This verse consists of four clauses. The first clause, "whatever goes into the earth" corresponds to the third clause, viz. "whatever descends from the heaven;" and the second clause, "and whatever comes forth from it," corresponds to the fourth clause, "whatever ascends into it." The allusion in this verse is to the subject dealt with in 32:6. The verse signifies that it is God alone Who knows what kind of teaching is needed in a particular age. Similarly, it is He Who knows when to take back to heaven the teaching which had descended from it, after it has been corrupted by the people, just as He takes water back to heaven in the form of vapours after it becomes corrupt, and sends it down in a purified form in the shape of rain. The words "whatever comes forth from it, and whatever descends from the heaven" may refer to the Word of God which is cast away by the people and is corrupted by them and then is taken up to heaven so that it may descend on earth in a purified state.

The words, "whatever goes into the earth and whatever comes forth from it," may also signify that whatever man shall sow, so shall he reap. Good actions produce good results and bad deeds lead to evil consequences.

The verse may also signify that God is aware of every phenomenon and every event, including the rise and fall of nations and peoples.

جو کچھ زمین میں جاتا ہے اور جو کچھ اُس سے نکلتا ہے اور جو کچھ آسمان سے اترتا ہے اور جو کچھ اُس میں چڑھتا ہے، ہر چیز کو وہ جانتا ہے، وہ رحیم اور غفور ہے

وہی ہے جس نے آسمانوں اور زمین کو چھ زمانوں میں پیدا کیا۔ پھر اس نے عرش پر قرار پکڑا۔ وہ جانتا ہے جو زمین میں داخل ہوتا ہے اور جو اس میں سے نکلتا ہے اور جو آسمان سے اُترتا ہے اور جو اس میں چڑھ جاتا ہے۔ اور وہ تمہارے ساتھ ہوتا ہے جہاں کہیں بھی تم ہو۔ اور جو تم کرتے ہو اللہ اس پر ہمیشہ گہری نظر رکھنے والا ہے۔

C’est Lui Qui a créé les cieux et la terre en six périodes, ensuite Il S’est établi sur le Trône. Il sait ce qui entre dans la terre, et ce qui en sort et ce qui descend du ciel, et ce qui y monte. Et Il est avec vous où que vous soyez. Et Allāh voit bien tout ce que vous faites.

34:3.

意思是, 只有安拉才知道哪一个民族需要哪一条安拉的教导; 也只有安拉才知道什么时候把他们领进天园, 即当这教导不再满足人们的精神需要时取消它。只有安拉才知道什么时候启示一条新教导。

Él es Quien creó los cielos y la tierra en seis períodos, y después se asentó en el Trono. Conoce lo que entra en la tierra y lo que sale de ella, así como lo que baja del cielo y sube a él. Él está con vosotros dondequiera que estéis, pues Al-lah ve todo lo que hacéis.

اسی نے آسمانوں اور زمین کو چھ وقتوں میں پیدا کیا ہے‘ پھر عرش پر مضبوطی سے قائم ہو گیا۔ وہ اسے بھی جانتا ہے جو زمین میں داخل ہوتا ہے۔ اور اسے بھی جو اس سے نکلتا ہے اور اسے بھی جو آسمان [1]سے اترتا ہے اور اسے بھی جو اس کی طرف چڑھتا ہے اور تم جہاں بھی جاؤ وہ تمہارے ساتھ رہتا ہے اور اللہ تمہارے اعمال سے خوب واقف ہے۔

34:3.

The meaning is that God alone knows when a particular Divine Teaching is needed for a particular people; also when to take it back to heaven, i.e. to abrogate it, when it is corrupted and ceases to fulfil the spiritual needs of the people to whom it is given. And He alone knows when to reveal a new Teaching.

34:3

Commentary:

For a detailed note on the first part of this verse see7:55; 10:4 and 41:10-11, and for the latter part see 34:3. The six periods or stages of evolution referred to in the verse may be those of the ether, nebula, electrons, minerals, plants and animals. Very briefly, the verse may signify that after God had created the heavens and the earth in six periods or stages, He began to control and govern the universe through set laws, and that as He made provision for the physical sustenance and development of man, so did He make similar provision for his spiritual evolution. But God alone knew when a particular divine teaching was needed for a particular people; also when to take it back to heaven, i.e. to abrogate it, when it was corrupted and ceased to fulfil the spiritual needs of the people to whom it was given. And He alone knew when to reveal a new teaching. And now that God has revealed the Quran, He will be with the Muslims wheresoever they may be because to them is entrusted the preaching of the last Divine Message.

وہی ہے جس نے آسمانوں اور زمین کو چھ دنوں میں پیدا کیا اور پھر عرش پر جلوہ فرما ہوا اُس کے علم میں ہے جو کچھ زمین میں جاتا ہے اور جو کچھ اس سے نکلتا ہے اور جو کچھ آسمان سے اترتا ہے اور جو کچھ اُس میں چڑھتا ہے وہ تمہارے ساتھ ہے جہاں بھی تم ہو جو کام بھی کرتے ہو اسے وہ دیکھ رہا ہے
