فَلَمَّاۤ اَلۡقَوۡا قَالَ مُوۡسٰی مَا جِئۡتُمۡ بِہِ السِّحۡرُ ۖ اِنَّ اللّٰہَ سَیُبۡطِلُہٗۤ ۖ اِنَّ اللّٰہَ لَا یُصۡلِحُ عَمَلَ الۡمُفۡسِدِیۡنَ
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
And when they had cast, Moses said, ‘What you have brought is mere sorcery. Surely, Allah will make it vain. Verily, Allah does not allow the work of mischief-makers to prosper.
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
پس جب انہوں نے ڈال دیا (جو ڈالنا تھا) تو موسیٰ نے کہا جو تم لائے ہو وہ محض نظر کا دھوکہ ہے۔ اللہ یقیناً اُسے باطل کردے گا۔ یقیناً اللہ مفسدین کے عمل کو صحیح قرار نہیں دیتا۔
French
Et lorsqu’ils eurent jeté, Moïse leur dit : « Ce que vous venez de faire n’est que de la magie pure. Sûrement, Allāh la rendra vaine. Assurément, Allāh ne permet pas aux actions des fauteurs de désordre de prospérer.

Als sie dann geworfen hatten, sprach Moses: "Was ihr gebracht habt, ist Zauberei. Allah wird sie sicherlich zunichte machen. Denn wahrlich, Allah lässt das Werk der Verderbenstifter nicht gedeihen.

当他们投出了 (他们所要投掷的,) [e]穆撒说: “凡是你们所带来的, 尽是魔术。安拉一定要使它无效的。安拉永不会使制造混乱者的工作成功。”

Y cuando hubieron arrojado, Moisés dijo: “lo que habéis traído es simple brujería. En verdad, Al-lah la hará inútil. Ciertamente Al-lah no permite que prosperen las obras de los corruptores.
اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
اس پر جب انہوں نے (جو کچھ ڈالنا تھا) ڈال دیا۔ تو موسیٰ نے کہا (کہ) جو کچھ تم لوگوں نے پیش کیا ہے (پورا) پورا فریب ہے۔ (اور) اللہ ضرور اسے مٹا دے گا۔ اللہ مفسدوں کی کارروائیوں کو کبھی کامیاب نہیں ہونے دیتا[1]۔
ہم نے لَا یُصْلِحُ کا ترجمہ ’’کامیاب نہیں ہونے دیتا‘‘ اس لئے کیا ہے کہ یُصْلِحُ کے معنے اصلاح کرنے کے ہوتے ہیں اور جب کسی کام کی اصلاح ہو جائے تو اس کا نتیجہ صحیح نکل آتا ہے اور انسان کامیاب ہو جاتا ہے۔
English - Short Commentary Translation
And when they had cast, [d]Moses said, ‘What you have brought is mere sorcery. Surely, Allah will bring it to naught. Verily, Allah does not permit the work of mischief-makers to prosper.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی
پھر جب انہوں نے اپنے آنچھر پھینک دیے تو موسیٰؑ نے کہا “یہ جو کچھ تم نے پھینکا ہے یہ جادو ہے، اللہ ابھی اِسے باطل کیے دیتا ہے، مفسدوں کے کام کو اللہ سدھرنے نہیں دیتا
English - Sahih
And when they had thrown, Moses said, "What you have brought is [only] magic. Indeed, Allah will expose its worthlessness. Indeed, Allah does not amend the work of corrupters.

پھر جب انہوں نے ڈالا موسیٰ نے کہا جو تم لائے ہو وہ جادو ہے الله اسے ابھی درہم برہم کر دے گا بے شک الله شریروں کے کام نہیں سنوارتا

Then when they (had) thrown, Musa said, "What you have brought [it] (is) the magic. Indeed, Allah will nullify it. Indeed, Allah (does) not amend the work (of) the corrupters.

ہم نے لَا یُصْلِحُ کا ترجمہ ’’کامیاب نہیں ہونے دیتا‘‘ اس لئے کیا ہے کہ یُصْلِحُ کے معنے اصلاح کرنے کے ہوتے ہیں اور جب کسی کام کی اصلاح ہو جائے تو اس کا نتیجہ صحیح نکل آتا ہے اور انسان کامیاب ہو جاتا ہے۔

Then, when they had cast, Moses said, 'What you have brought is sorcery; God will assuredly bring it to naught. God sets not right the work of those who do corruption.

Then when they had cast (their staffs), Moses said: 'What you have produced is sheer sorcery. Allah will certainly reduce it to naught. Surely Allah does not set right the work of the mischief-makers.
