3:11

اِنَّ الَّذِیۡنَ کَفَرُوۡا لَنۡ تُغۡنِیَ عَنۡہُمۡ اَمۡوٰلُہُمۡ وَلَاۤ اَوۡلٰدُہُمۡ مِّنَ اللّٰہِ شَیۡـًٔا ۖ وَّاُولٰٓئِکَ ہُمۡ وَقُوۡدُ النَّارِ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

Those who disbelieve — their possessions and their children shall not avail them at all against Allah; and it is they that are the fuel of the Fire.

3:117

اِنَّ الَّذِیۡنَ کَفَرُوۡا لَنۡ تُغۡنِیَ عَنۡہُمۡ اَمۡوٰلُہُمۡ وَلَاۤ اَوۡلٰدُہُمۡ مِّنَ اللّٰہِ شَیۡـًٔا ۖ وَّاُولٰٓئِکَ اَصۡحٰبُ النَّارِ ۚ ہُمۡ فِیۡہَا خٰلِدُوۡنَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

As for those who disbelieve, their possessions and their children shall not avail them aught against Allah; and these are the inmates of the Fire; therein shall they abide.

8:29

وَاعۡلَمُوۡۤا اَنَّمَاۤ اَمۡوٰلُکُمۡ وَاَوۡلٰدُکُمۡ فِتۡنَۃٌ وَّاَنَّ اللّٰہَ عِنۡدَہٗۤ اَجۡرٌ عَظِیۡمٌ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And know that your possessions and your children are but a trial and that it is Allah with Whom is a great reward.

English - Five Volume Translation

And know that [a]your possessions and your children are but a trial and that it is Allah with Whom is a great reward.[1117]

9:24

قُلۡ اِنۡ کَانَ اٰبَآؤُکُمۡ وَاَبۡنَآؤُکُمۡ وَاِخۡوٰنُکُمۡ وَاَزۡوٰجُکُمۡ وَعَشِیۡرَتُکُمۡ وَاَمۡوٰلُۨ اقۡتَرَفۡتُمُوۡہَا وَتِجٰرَۃٌ تَخۡشَوۡنَ کَسَادَہَا وَمَسٰکِنُ تَرۡضَوۡنَہَاۤ اَحَبَّ اِلَیۡکُمۡ مِّنَ اللّٰہِ وَرَسُوۡلِہٖ وَجِہَادٍ فِیۡ سَبِیۡلِہٖ فَتَرَبَّصُوۡا حَتّٰی یَاۡتِیَ اللّٰہُ بِاَمۡرِہٖ ۗ وَاللّٰہُ لَا یَہۡدِی الۡقَوۡمَ الۡفٰسِقِیۡنَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

Say, if your fathers, and your sons, and your brethren, and your wives, and your kinsfolk, and the wealth you have acquired, and the trade whose dullness you fear, and the dwellings which you love are dearer to you than Allah and His Messenger and striving in His cause, then wait until Allah comes with His judgment; and Allah guides not the disobedient people.

9:55

فَلَا تُعۡجِبۡکَ اَمۡوٰلُہُمۡ وَلَاۤ اَوۡلٰدُہُمۡ ۚ اِنَّمَا یُرِیۡدُ اللّٰہُ لِیُعَذِّبَہُمۡ بِہَا فِی الۡحَیٰوۃِ الدُّنۡیَا وَتَزۡہَقَ اَنۡفُسُہُمۡ وَہُمۡ کٰفِرُوۡنَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

So let not their wealth nor their children excite thy wonder. Allah only intends to punish them therewith in the present life and that their souls may depart while they are disbelievers.

9:85

وَلَا تُعۡجِبۡکَ اَمۡوٰلُہُمۡ وَاَوۡلٰدُہُمۡ ۚ اِنَّمَا یُرِیۡدُ اللّٰہُ اَنۡ یُّعَذِّبَہُمۡ بِہَا فِی الدُّنۡیَا وَتَزۡہَقَ اَنۡفُسُہُمۡ وَہُمۡ کٰفِرُوۡنَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And their possessions and their children should not excite thy wonder; Allah only intends to punish them therewith in this world and that their souls may depart while they are disbelievers.

34:38

وَمَاۤ اَمۡوٰلُکُمۡ وَلَاۤ اَوۡلٰدُکُمۡ بِالَّتِیۡ تُقَرِّبُکُمۡ عِنۡدَنَا زُلۡفٰۤی اِلَّا مَنۡ اٰمَنَ وَعَمِلَ صٰلِحًا فَاُولٰٓئِکَ لَہُمۡ جَزَآءُ الضِّعۡفِ بِمَا عَمِلُوۡا وَہُمۡ فِی الۡغُرُفٰتِ اٰمِنُوۡنَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And it is not your riches nor your children that will bring you near Us in rank, but those who believe and do good works, will have a double reward for what they did. And in lofty mansions will they be secure.

48:12

سَیَقُوۡلُ لَکَ الۡمُخَلَّفُوۡنَ مِنَ الۡاَعۡرَابِ شَغَلَتۡنَاۤ اَمۡوٰلُنَا وَاَہۡلُوۡنَا فَاسۡتَغۡفِرۡ لَنَا ۚ یَقُوۡلُوۡنَ بِاَلۡسِنَتِہِمۡ مَّا لَیۡسَ فِیۡ قُلُوۡبِہِمۡ ۚ قُلۡ فَمَنۡ یَّمۡلِکُ لَکُمۡ مِّنَ اللّٰہِ شَیۡـًٔا اِنۡ اَرَادَ بِکُمۡ ضَرًّا اَوۡ اَرَادَ بِکُمۡ نَفۡعًۢا ۚ بَلۡ کَانَ اللّٰہُ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُوۡنَ خَبِیۡرًۢا

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

Those of the desert Arabs, who were left behind, will say to thee, ‘Our possessions and our families kept us occupied, so ask forgiveness for us.’ They say with their tongues that which is not in their hearts. Say, ‘Who can avail you aught against Allah, if He intends you some harm, or if He intends you some benefit? Nay, Allah is Well-Aware of what you do.

58:18

لَّنۡ تُغۡنِیَ عَنۡہُمۡ اَمۡوٰلُہُمۡ وَلَاۤ اَوۡلٰدُہُمۡ مِّنَ اللّٰہِ شَیۡـًٔا ۚ اُولٰٓئِکَ اَصۡحٰبُ النَّارِ ۖ ہُمۡ فِیۡہَا خٰلِدُوۡنَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

Neither their riches nor their children will avail them aught against Allah. They are the inmates of the Fire wherein they will abide.

63:10

یٰۤاَیُّہَا الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا لَا تُلۡہِکُمۡ اَمۡوٰلُکُمۡ وَلَاۤ اَوۡلٰدُکُمۡ عَنۡ ذِکۡرِ اللّٰہِ ۚ وَمَنۡ یَّفۡعَلۡ ذٰلِکَ فَاُولٰٓئِکَ ہُمُ الۡخٰسِرُوۡنَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

O ye who believe! let not your wealth and your children divert you from the remembrance of Allah. And whoever does so — it is they who are the losers.
