زَعَمَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ أَن لَّن يُبْعَثُوا۟ ۚ قُلْ بَلَىٰ وَرَبِّى لَتُبْعَثُنَّ ثُمَّ لَتُنَبَّؤُنَّ بِمَا عَمِلْتُمْ ۚ وَذَٰلِكَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ يَسِيرٌ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

Those who disbelieve assert that they will not be raised up. Say, ‘Yea, by my Lord, you shall surely be raised up; then shall you surely be informed of what you did. And that is easy for Allah.’

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

وہ لوگ جنہوں نے کفر کیا گمان کر بیٹھے کہ وہ ہرگز اُٹھائے نہیں جائیں گے۔ تو کہہ دے کیوں نہیں۔ میرے ربّ کی قسم! تم ضرور اُٹھائے جاؤ گے پھر ضرور تم خبر دیئے جاؤ گے اس کی جو تم کرتے تھے اور اللہ پر یہ بہت آسان ہے۔

French

Ceux qui refusent de croire affirment qu’ils ne seront pas ressuscités. Dis : « Si fait, par mon Seigneur, vous serez sûrement ressuscités, alors vous serez sûrement informés de ce que vous avez fait. Et cela est facile pour Allāh. »

German

Die da ungläubig sind, wähnen, sie würden nicht auferweckt werden. Sprich: "Doch, bei meinem Herrn, ihr werdet gewisslich auferweckt werden; dann wird euch gewisslich verkündet werden, was ihr getan. Und das ist Allah ein leichtes."

不信的人以为[b]他们将不再复活。[1434]你说: “不然, 凭我的养主为誓, 你们必将复活; 然后让你们知道你们的所作所为。这对于安拉是容易的。”

人以为没有未来的生命, 或者以为平白无故地赋有伟大的自然力量、品德和才能, 或者他以为对他的行为可以逃避责任?他这么想就可悲了。死后当然有复生, “那儿你将得知自己做过的是什么事。”

Coloro che non credono pensano che non saranno risuscitati. Di': «Sì, per il mio Signore, voi sarete senz'altro risuscitati. Quindi non c'è dubbio che sarete informati su quello che avete fatto. E questo riesce facile ad Allah.»

Spanish

Los incrédulos afirman que no serán resucitados. Diles: “¡Sí! por mi Señor; en verdad seréis resucitados; entonces seréis verdaderamente informados de lo que hicisteis. Eso es fácil para Al-lah”.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

کافر خیال کرتے ہیں کہ کبھی بھی وہ (زندہ کرکے) نہیں اٹھائے جائیں گے تو کہہ دے جس طرح تم خیال کرتے ہو۔ ایسا نہیں ہوگا۔ بلکہ مجھ کو اپنے رب کی قسم تم کو زندہ کرکے اٹھایا جائے گا‘ پھر تم کو تمہارے اعمال سے واقف کیا جائے گا اور یہ بات اللہ پر آسان ہے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

Those who disbelieve think[3059] that [c]they will not be raised up.[3059A] Say, ‘Yea, by my Lord, you shall, surely, be raised up; then you shall, certainly, be informed of what you did. And that is easy for Allah.’

36:79, 80; 46:18; 50:4.

Za‘ama means, he thought; claimed; believed; asserted (Lane).

Does man think that there is no future life or that he has been endowed with great natural powers, attributes and faculties for nothing, or, does he imagine that he can escape responsibility for his actions? He is sadly mistaken if he so imagines. There is certainly a life after death wherein you shall certainly be informed of what you did.

English - Five Volume Translation

Those who disbelieve assert that they will not be raised up.[a] Say, ‘Yea, by my Lord, you shall surely be raised up; then shall you surely be informed of what you did. And that is easy for Allah.’[4260]

Commentary:

Does man think (the verse seems to say) that there is no future life or that he has been endowed with great powers, attributes and faculties for nothing, or, does he imagine that he can escape responsibility for his actions? He is sadly mistaken if he so imagines. There is a life after death wherein "shall you surely be informed of what you did."

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

منکرین نے بڑے دعوے سے کہا ہے کہ وہ مرنے کے بعد ہرگز دوبارہ نہ اٹھائے جائیں گے ان سے کہو "نہیں، میرے رب کی قسم تم ضرور اٹھائے جاؤ گے، پھر ضرور تمہیں بتایا جائے گا کہ تم نے (دنیا میں) کیا کچھ کیا ہے، اور ایسا کرنا اللہ کے لیے بہت آسان ہے"

English - Sahih

Those who disbelieve have claimed that they will never be resurrected. Say, "Yes, by my Lord, you will surely be resurrected; then you will surely be informed of what you did. And that, for Allah, is easy."

کافروں نے سمجھ لیا کہ قبروں سے اٹھائے نہ جائیں گے کہہ دوکیوں نہیں مجھے اپنے رب کی قسم ہے ضرور اٹھائے جاؤ گے پھر تمہیں بتلایا جائے گا جو کچھ تم نے کیا تھا اور یہ بات الله پر آسان ہے

English - Talal Itani

Claim those who disbelieve that never will they be raised. Say, "Yes, by my Lord, surely you will be raised; then surely you will be informed of what you did. And that for Allah (is) easy."

English - Arberry

The unbelievers assert that they will never be raised up. Say: 'Yes indeed, by my Lord! You shall be raised up, then you shall be told the things you did. That is easy for God.'

English - Maududi

The unbelievers have vehemently contended that they shall not be raised to life. Say to them: “Yes, by my Lord, you shall surely be raised to life, and you shall certainly be fully informed of all that you did. That is easy enough for Allah.”

English - Ahmed Ali

The unbelievers claim that they will not be raised again. Tell them: "Why not? By my Lord, you will certainly be raised again, and then informed of what you had done. That is how the law of God works inevitably."
