ٱلَّذِينَ تَتَوَفَّىٰهُمُ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ طَيِّبِينَ ۙ يَقُولُونَ سَلَٰمٌ عَلَيْكُمُ ٱدْخُلُوا۟ ٱلْجَنَّةَ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

Those whom the angels cause to die while they are pure. They say: ‘Peace be unto you! Enter Heaven because of what you used to do.’

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

(یعنی) وہ لوگ جن کو فرشتے اس حالت میں وفات دیتے ہیں کہ وہ پاک ہوتے ہیں وہ (انہیں) کہتے ہیں تم پر سلام ہو۔ جنت میں داخل ہو جاؤ اُس کی بنا پر جو تم عمل کرتے تھے۔

Ceux que les anges font mourir pendant qu’ils sont purs, ils leur disent : « Paix sur vous ! Entrez au Paradis pour ce que vous aviez l’habitude de faire. »

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

(وہ متقی) جن کی روحوں کو فرشتے اس حالت میں کہ وہ پاک نفس ہوں (یہ) کہتے ہوئے قبض کرتے ہیں کہ (اب) تمہارے لئے سلامتی (ہی سلامتی) ہے ( لو اب اپنے نیک) اعمال کے بدلے میں تم جنت میں داخل ہو جاؤ۔

Commentary:

It may be noted here that whereas, as mentioned in verse 29, disbelievers will be the first to make overtures of submission at the appearance of the angels of death, in the case of the righteous it is the angels themselves who will receive them with the salutation of peace.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

اُن متقیوں کو جن کی روحیں پاکیزگی کی حالت میں جب ملائکہ قبض کرتے ہیں تو کہتے ہیں "سلام ہو تم پر، جاؤ جنت میں اپنے اعمال کے بدلے"

English - Sahih

The ones whom the angels take in death, [being] good and pure; [the angels] will say, "Peace be upon you. Enter Paradise for what you used to do."
