وَلَوۡ شَآءَ رَبُّکَ لَجَعَلَ النَّاسَ اُمَّۃً وّٰحِدَۃً ۖ وَّلَا یَزَالُوۡنَ مُخۡتَلِفِیۡنَ
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
And if thy Lord had enforced His will, He would have surely made mankind one people; but they would not cease to differ,
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
اور اگر تیرا ربّ چاہتا تو لوگوں کو ایک ہی اُمّت بنا دیتا مگر وہ ہمیشہ اختلاف کرتے رہیں گے۔

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
اور اگر تیرا رب اپنی ہی مشیت نافذ کرتا تو تمام لوگوں کو ایک ہی جماعت بنا دیتا اور (چونکہ اس نے ایسا نہیں کیا اور انہیں ان کی عقل پر چھوڑ دیا ہے) وہ ہمیشہ اختلاف کرتے رہیں گے۔

And [d]if thy Lord had enforced His Will, He would have surely made mankind one people; but they would not cease to differ;

بے شک تیرا رب اگر چاہتا تو تمام انسانوں کو ایک گروہ بنا سکتا تھا، مگر اب تو وہ مختلف طریقوں ہی پر چلتے رہیں گے
