أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُولِجُ ٱلَّيْلَ فِى ٱلنَّهَارِ وَيُولِجُ ٱلنَّهَارَ فِى ٱلَّيْلِ وَسَخَّرَ ٱلشَّمْسَ وَٱلْقَمَرَ كُلٌّ يَجْرِىٓ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

Hast thou not seen that Allah makes the night pass into the day, and makes the day pass into the night, and He has pressed the sun and the moon into service; each pursuing its course till an appointed term, and that Allah is well aware of what you do?

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

کیا تُو نے غور نہیں کیا کہ اللہ رات کو دن میں داخل کرتا اور دن کو رات میں داخل کرتا ہے اور اس نے چاند اور سورج کو مسخر کردیا ہے۔ ہر ایک اپنی مقررہ مدت کی طرف رواں دواں ہے۔ اور (یاد رکھو) کہ اللہ اس سے جو کچھ تم کرتے ہو ہمیشہ باخبر رہتا ہے۔

N’as-tu pas vu qu’Allāh fait pénétrer la nuit dans le jour, et fait pénétrer le jour dans la nuit, et qu’Il a assujetti le soleil et la lune, chacun poursuivant son cours jusqu’à un terme désigné, et qu’Allāh est très conscient de ce que vous faites ?

Hast du denn nicht gesehen, dass Allah die Nacht in den Tag übergehen lässt und den Tag übergehen lässt in die Nacht und dass Er die Sonne und den Mond dienstbar gemacht, so dass jedes seine Bahn läuft zu einem bestimmten Ziel, und dass Allah wohl kundig ist dessen, was ihr tut?

¿No has visto que Al‑lah hace que la noche se convierta en día, y hace que el día se convierta en noche, y que ha puesto en servicio el sol y la luna, cada uno de los cuales sigue su rumbo hasta el plazo fijado; y que Al‑lah conoce perfectamente lo que hacéis?

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

کیا تو نے دیکھا نہیں کہ اللہ رات کو دن میں داخل کر دیتا ہے اور دن کو رات میں داخل کر دیتا ہے اور سورج اور چاند کو اس نے خدمت پر لگا چھوڑا ہے۔ ان میں سے ہر ایک مدت مقررہ تک کے لئے چلتا چلا جاتا ہے اور اللہ تمہارے اعمال سے اچھی طرح واقف ہے۔

Seest thou not that [c]Allah makes the night pass into[2316] the day and makes the day pass into the night, and [d]He has pressed the sun and the moon into service; each pursuing its course till an appointed term, and that Allah is Well-Aware of what you do?

Commentary:

The verse under comment further develops the theme of its predecessor and says that nations and individuals advance and decay as they observe or ignore the laws that govern their rise and fall. Uniform prosperity or unrelieved misery has never been the lot of a people for all time. The condition of a people or individual changes with a corresponding change in their or his attitude and behaviour. The natural law of the day following the night, and vice versa operates with equal force in regard to the fate of nations as well as individuals.

کیا تم دیکھتے نہیں ہو کہ اللہ رات کو دن میں پروتا ہوا لے آتا ہے اور دن کو رات میں؟ اُس نے سُورج اور چاند کو مسخر کر رکھا ہے، سب ایک وقت مقرر تک چلے جا رہے ہیں، اور (کیا تم نہیں جانتے) کہ جو کچھ بھی تم کرتے ہو اللہ اُس سے باخبر ہے

Do you not see that Allah causes the night to enter the day and causes the day to enter the night and has subjected the sun and the moon, each running [its course] for a specified term, and that Allah, with whatever you do, is Acquainted?

کیا تو نے نہیں دیکھا کہ الله رات کو دن میں داخل کرتا ہے اور دن کو رات میں داخل کرتا ہے اور سورج اور چاند کو کام پر لگا رکھا ہے ہر ایک وقت مقرر تک چلتا رہے گا اور یہ کہ الله تمہارے کام سے خبردار ہے
