إِن يَشَأْ يُسْكِنِ ٱلرِّيحَ فَيَظْلَلْنَ رَوَاكِدَ عَلَىٰ ظَهْرِهِۦٓ ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَءَايَٰتٍ لِّكُلِّ صَبَّارٍ شَكُورٍ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

If He so will, He can cause the wind to become still so that they become motionless upon the surface thereof — in that, surely, are Signs for every person who is most patient and grateful —

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اگر وہ چاہے تو ہوا کو ساکن کردے پس وہ اس (سمندر) کی سطح پر کھڑی کی کھڑی رہ جائیں۔ یقیناً اِس بات میں ہر بہت صبر کرنے والے اور بہت شکر کرنے والے کے لئے نشانات ہیں۔

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اگر وہ چاہے تو ہوا کو ٹھہرا دے اور وہ سمندر کی سطح پر کھڑی کی کھڑی رہ جائیں۔ اس میں ہر صبر کرنے والے قدر دان کے لئے نشانات ہیں۔

If He so desires He can cause the wind to become still so that they become motionless upon the surface thereof—in that, surely, are Signs for every patient and grateful person—

Commentary:

In this and several other verses the Quran points to the great part that ships were to play in international intercourse. This truth, revealed to a son of the desert, as far back as fourteen hundred years ago, speaks volumes for the Divine origin of the Quran.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

اللہ جب چاہے ہوا کو ساکن کر دے اور یہ سمندر کی پیٹھ پر کھڑے کے کھڑے رہ جائیں اِس میں بڑی نشانیاں ہیں ہر اُس شخص کے لیے جو کمال درجہ صبر و شکر کرنے والا ہو

English - Sahih

If He willed, He could still the wind, and they would remain motionless on its surface. Indeed in that are signs for everyone patient and grateful.

اگر وہ چاہے تو ہوا کو ٹھیرا دے پس وہ اس کی سطح پر کھڑ ے رہ جائیں بے شک اس میں ہر صبر کرنے والے شکر گزار کے لیے نشانیاں ہیں
