۞ أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ بَدَّلُوا۟ نِعْمَتَ ٱللَّهِ كُفْرًا وَأَحَلُّوا۟ قَوْمَهُمْ دَارَ ٱلْبَوَارِ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

Dost thou not see those who changed Allah’s favour into ingratitude and landed their people into the abode of ruin —

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

کیا تُونے اُن لوگوں کی طرف نہیں دیکھا جنہوں نے اللہ کی نعمت کو کفر میں تبدیل کر دیا اور اپنی قوم کو ہلاکت کے گھر میں اتار دیا۔

French

Ne vois-tu pas ceux qui ont changé les bienfaits d’Allāh en ingratitude, et qui ont fait atterrir leur peuple dans la demeure de la perdition –

Siehst du nicht jene, die Allahs Gnade mit der Undankbarkeit vertauschten und ihr Volk in die Stätte des Verderbens brachten,

[a]难道你不曾 (留心) 观察那些人? 他们忘恩负义地改变了安拉的恩惠, 使自己的民族陷入灭亡之境--------

Non vedi coloro che hanno ricambiato il favore di Allah con l'ingratitudine e hanno trascinato la loro gente nella dimora della perdizione,

¿No ves a quienes cambiaron la gracia de Al‑lah por ingratitud y arrastraron a sus gentes a la morada de perdición

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

(اے مخاطب)! کیا تو نے ان لوگوں (کی حالت) کو (غور کی نظر سے) نہیں دیکھا جنہوں نے ناشکری سے اللہ کی نعمت کو بدل ڈالا (اور آپ بھی ہلاک ہوئے) اور اپنی قوم کو (بھی) ہلاکت کے گھر میں (لا) اتارا۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

[a]Dost thou not see those who changed Allah’s favour for ingratitude and landed their people into the abode of ruin—

2:212.

English - Five Volume Translation

[a]Dost thou not see thosewho changed Allah’s favour into ingratitude and landed their people into the abode of ruin–[1683]

2:212.

Commentary:

By "Allah’s favour" is here meant Divine revelation, referred to in the previous verse as "a firmly established word." God bestowed this favour upon the people, but the return they made was to become ungrateful and also ruin themselves by denying it.

تم نے دیکھا اُن لوگوں کو جنہوں نے اللہ کی نعمت پائی اور اُسے کفران نعمت سے بدل ڈالا اور (اپنے ساتھ) اپنی قوم کو بھی ہلاکت کے گھر میں جھونک دیا

Have you not considered those who exchanged the favor of Allah for disbelief and settled their people [in] the home of ruin?

کیاتو نے انہیں نہیں دیکھا کہ جنہوں نے الله کی نعمت کےبدلے میں ناشکری کی اور اپنی قوم کو تباہی کے گھر میں اتارا
