أَفَأَصْفَىٰكُمْ رَبُّكُم بِٱلْبَنِينَ وَٱتَّخَذَ مِنَ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ إِنَٰثًا ۚ إِنَّكُمْ لَتَقُولُونَ قَوْلًا عَظِيمًا
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
Has, then, your Lord honoured you with sons, and taken for Himself females from among the angels? Surely, you say a grievous saying.

کیا تمہیں تو تمہارے ربّ نے بیٹوں کے لئے چُن لیا اور خود فرشتوں میں سے بیٹیاں بنا بیٹھا؟ تم یقیناً بہت بڑی بات کر رہے ہو۔

Alors, votre Seigneur vous aurait-Il accordé une distinction en vous accordant des fils, et aurait-Il pris pour Lui-Même des femelles de parmi les anges ? Vous dites là assurément une parole affligeante.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
کیا تمہارے رب نے تم کو لڑکوں (کی نعمت) سے مخصوص کر دیا ہے اور (خود) اس نے بعض فرشتوں کو (اپنی) لڑکیاں بنا لیا ہے۔ یقیناً تم (یہ) بڑی (خطرناک) بات کہتے ہو۔

Commentary:
This verse gives an illustration of the mental confusion and lack of intellectual poise of polytheists. For instance, some of them say that angels are God’s daughters and they worship them although they themselves regard daughters to be a source of shame and humiliation.

کیسی عجیب بات ہے کہ تمہارے رب نے تمہیں تو بیٹوں سے نوازا اور خود اپنے لیے ملائکہ کو بیٹیاں بنا لیا؟ بڑی جھوٹی بات ہے جو تم لوگ زبانوں سے نکالتے ہو
