English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
The believers are only those who truly believe in Allah and His Messenger, and then doubt not, but strive with their possessions and their persons in the cause of Allah. It is they who are truthful.
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
مومن وہی ہیں جو اللہ اور اس کے رسول پر ایمان لائے پھر انہوں نے کبھی شک نہیں کیا اور اپنے مالوں اور اپنی جانوں سے اللہ کی راہ میں جہاد کیا۔ یہی وہ لوگ ہیں جو سچے ہیں۔

Les croyants sont seulement ceux qui croient vraiment en Allāh et en Son Messager, et ensuite ne doutent pas, mais luttent avec leurs biens et leurs personnes pour la cause d’Allāh. Ceux-là sont les véridiques.

Commentary:
True and sincere belief to which reference has been made in the preceding verse consists of three important ingredients—strong and firm faith in Allah, absolute freedom from doubt and misgiving as to the truth of Islam and striving with all means within one’s power in the cause of God. It is only those sincere and steadfast Muslims who possess these qualifications who are entitled to be called "the truthful ones" i.e. those who have fulfilled their pledged word to God.

حقیقت میں تو مومن وہ ہیں جو اللہ اور اُس کے رسول پر ایمان لائے پھر انہوں نے کوئی شک نہ کیا اور اپنی جانوں اور مالوں سے اللہ کی راہ میں جہاد کیا وہی سچے لوگ ہیں

English - Arberry
The believers are those who believe in God and His Messenger, then have not doubted, and have struggled with their possessions and their selves in the way of God; those -- they are the truthful ones.

Indeed the ones possessed of true faith are those who believed in Allah and His Messenger and then they did not entertain any doubt and strove hard in the Way of Allah with their lives and their possessions. These are the truthful ones.

Commentary:

اُن درویش مہاجرین کے لئے بھی ہے جو اپنے گھروں سے نکالے گئے اور اپنے اموال سے (الگ کئے گئے)۔ وہ اللہ ہی سے فضل اور اس کی رضا چاہتے ہیں اور اللہ اور اس کے رسول کی مدد کرتے ہیں۔ یہی ہیں وہ جو سچے ہیں۔

Le butin est pour les Réfugiés pauvres qui ont été chassés de leurs habitations et de leurs biens, alors qu’ils recherchaient quelque grâce et plaisir de la part d'Allāh et qu'ils aidaient Allāh et Son Messager. Ceux-là sont les véridiques dans leur foi ;

یہ (مال علاوہ اوپر کے لوگوں کے) مہاجر غریبوں کا حق ہے جن کو ان کے گھروں اور مالوں سے (بے دخل کرکے) نکال دیا گیا تھا۔ وہ اللہ کا فضل اور اس کی رضا چاہتے ہیں اور (ہمیشہ) اللہ (کے دین) کی اور اس کے رسول کی مدد کرتے رہتے ہیں۔ وہی لوگ (ایمان میں) سچے ہیں۔

Commentary:
الفقراء seems to be case in apposition to the categories of recipients of the فییء mentioned in the preceding verse. From Hadith it appears that the poor Refugees were the greatest beneficiaries from فییء obtained from Banu Nadir.

(نیز وہ مال) اُن غریب مہاجرین کے لیے ہے جو اپنے گھروں اور جائدادوں سے نکال باہر کیے گئے ہیں یہ لوگ اللہ کا فضل اور اس کی خوشنودی چاہتے ہیں اور اللہ اور اُس کے رسولؐ کی حمایت پر کمر بستہ رہتے ہیں یہی راستباز لوگ ہیں

For the poor emigrants who were expelled from their homes and their properties, seeking bounty from Allah and [His] approval and supporting Allah and His Messenger, [there is also a share]. Those are the truthful.
