فَلَمَّا جَآءَتۡ قِیۡلَ اَہٰکَذَا عَرۡشُکِ ۖ قَالَتۡ کَاَنَّہٗ ہُوَ ۚ وَاُوۡتِیۡنَا الۡعِلۡمَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِہَا وَکُنَّا مُسۡلِمِیۡنَ
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
And when she came, it was said, ‘Is thy throne like this?’ She replied, ‘It is as though it were the same. And we had been given knowledge before this, and we have already submitted.’
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
پس جب وہ آئی تو اس سے پوچھا گیا کہ کیا تیرا تخت اسی طرح کا ہے؟ تو اس نے جواب دیا گویا یہ وہی ہے اور اس سے پہلے ہی ہمیں علم دے دیا گیا تھا اور ہم فرمانبردار ہو چکے تھے۔

Et lorsqu’elle vint, il lui fut dit : « Ton trône ressemble-t-il à celui-ci. » Elle répondit : « C’est comme si c’était le même. Et la connaissance nous avait déjà été accordée avant ceci, et nous nous sommes déjà soumis. »

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
پس جب وہ آگئی تو کہا گیا‘ کیا تیرا تخت ایسا ہی ہے؟ اس پر اس نے کہا۔ کہ یوں معلوم ہوتا ہے یہ وہی ہے اور ہم کو اس سے پہلے ہی علم حاصل ہو چکا تھا اور ہم (تیرے) فرمانبردار بن چکے تھے۔
English - Short Commentary Translation
And when she came, it was said to her, ‘Is thy throne like this?’ She replied, ‘It is as though it were the same. And we had been given knowledge before this, and we have already submitted.’[2176]
The words, we had been given knowledge before this, signify that the Queen had already become conversant with the great power and resources of Solomon and had made up her mind to give her allegiance to him.

ملکہ جب حاضر ہوئی تو اس سے کہا گیا کیا تیرا تخت ایسا ہی ہے؟ وہ کہنے لگی "یہ تو گویا وہی ہے ہم تو پہلے ہی جان گئے تھے اور ہم نے سرِ اطاعت جھکا دیا تھا (یا ہم مسلم ہو چکے تھے)"

So when she arrived, it was said [to her], "Is your throne like this?" She said, "[It is] as though it was it." [Solomon said], "And we were given knowledge before her, and we have been Muslims [in submission to Allah].
