اِنۡ تُعَذِّبۡہُمۡ فَاِنَّہُمۡ عِبَادُکَ ۖ وَاِنۡ تَغۡفِرۡ لَہُمۡ فَاِنَّکَ اَنۡتَ الۡعَزِیۡزُ الۡحَکِیۡمُ
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
“If Thou punish them, they are Thy servants; and if Thou forgive them, Thou surely art the Mighty, the Wise.”
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
اگر تُو انہیں عذاب دے تو آخر یہ تیرے بندے ہیں اور اگر تو انہیں معاف کر دے تو یقیناً تُو کامل غلبہ والا (اور) حکمت والا ہے۔

اگر تو انہیں عذاب دینا چاہے تو وہ تیرے بندے ہیں اور اگر تو انہیں بخشنا چاہے تو تو بہت غالب (اور) بڑی حکمتوں والا (خدا) ہے۔

Commentary:
This verse constitutes a most pathetic appeal by Jesus to God on behalf of his followers; and the succeeding verse provides the divine answer to the appeal.

اب اگر آپ انہیں سزا دیں تو وہ آپ کے بندے ہیں اور اگر معاف کر دیں تو آپ غالب اور دانا ہیں"
