English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
And among them there are those who made a covenant with Allah, saying, ‘If He give us of His bounty, we would most surely give alms and be of the virtuous.’
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
اور انہی میں سے ایسے بھی ہیں جنہوں نے اللہ سے عہد کیا تھا کہ اگر وہ ہمیں اپنے فضل سے کچھ عطا کرے تو ہم ضرور صدقات دیں گے اور ہم ضرور نیک لوگوں میں سے ہو جائیں گے۔
French
. Et il y a certains d’entre eux qui ont fait un pacte avec Allāh, en disant : « S’Il nous donne de Sa munificence, nous ferons assurément l’aumône, et nous serons du nombre des vertueux. »

Unter ihnen sind so manche, die Allah versprachen: "Wenn Er uns aus Seiner Fülle gibt, dann wollen wir bestimmt Almosen geben und dann wollen wir rechtschaffen sein."

他们中也有一些人向安拉许约: “如果他 (安拉) 出于自己的慈典赐我们 (一些东西), 我们一定施舍于他的道上, 我们一定做为善人。”

Entre ellos están quienes concluyeron un pacto con Al-lah, diciendo: “si Él nos da de Su magnanimidad, nosotros ciertamente daremos limosnas y seremos virtuosos”.
اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
اور ان میں سے (کچھ افراد) ایسے بھی ہیں جو اللہ سے یہ عہد کرتے ہیں کہ اگر وہ (اللہ) ہمیں اپنے فضل سے کچھ دے گا تو ہم ضرور اس کی راہ میں صدقہ کریں گے اور ہم ضرور نیک بن جائیں گے۔
English - Short Commentary Translation
And among them are those who made a covenant with Allah, saying, ‘If He give us of His bounty, we would most surely give alms and be of the virtuous.’

And among them there are those who made a covenant with Allah, saying, ‘If He give us of His bounty, we would most surely give alms and be of the virtuous.’[1229]
Commentary:
The verse refers to the time when some of the men who later turned hypocrites retained some sincerity of faith. See the following verse.
اردو ترجمہ مودودی
ان میں سے بعض ایسے بھی ہیں جنہوں نے اللہ سے عہد کیا تھا کہ اگر اس نے اپنے فضل سے ہم کو نوازا تو ہم خیرات کریں گے اور صالح بن کر رہیں گے
English - Sahih
And among them are those who made a covenant with Allah, [saying], "If He should give us from His bounty, we will surely spend in charity, and we will surely be among the righteous."

اور بعضے ان میں سے وہ ہیں جنہوں نے الله سے عہد کیا تھا کہ اگر وہ ہمیں اپنے فضل سے دے تو ہم ضرور خیرات کیا کریں گے اور نیکو ں میں سےہو جائیں

French
En vérité, ceux qui te prêtent serment d’allégeance, prêtent en fait serment à Allāh. La main d’Allāh est sur leurs mains. Alors quiconque viole son serment, ne le viole qu'à son détriment ; et quiconque reste fidèle au pacte qu’il a fait avec Allāh, Il lui accordera sûrement une très grande récompense.
German
Die dir Treue schwören, Allah nur schwören sie Treue; die Hand Allahs ist über ihren Händen. Wer daher den Eid bricht, bricht ihn zum Schaden seiner eigenen Seele; wer aber das hält, wozu er sich gegen Allah verpflichtet hat, dem wird Er gewaltigen Lohn zuerkennen.

的确, 凡是向你作忠顺誓约的人。[1265]他们实向安拉作忠顺誓约。安拉的手在他们手上。所以凡是破坏 (他的誓约) 的, 他将自受 (背约的) 损害; 凡是实践他对安拉作了许诺的人, 安拉必将赐他大的报酬。
这里指的是, 在赫戴比亚的一棵树下穆圣亲率信者们所立的誓言。
Italian
In verità, quanti ti giurano fedeltà, in effetti giurano fedeltà ad Allah. La mano di Allah è sopra le loro mani. Così, chiunque infranga il proprio giuramento, lo infrange a proprio danno. E a chiunque mantenga il patto stipulato con Allah, Egli, per certo, darà una grande ricompensa.

En verdad, los que te juran lealtad a ti ciertamente juran lealtad a Al-lah. La mano de Al-lah está sobre sus manos. Por ello, quien incumple su juramento, lo incumple en su propio perjuicio; y a quien cumpla el pacto establecido con Al-lah, Él le concederá ciertamente una gran recompensa.
اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
وہ لوگ جو تیری بیعت کرتے ہیں وہ صرف اللہ کی بیعت کرتے ہیں۔ اللہ کا ہاتھ ان کے ہاتھ پر ہے۔ پس جو کوئی اس عہد کو توڑے گا تو اس کے توڑنے کا وبال اس کی جان پر پڑے گا۔ اور جو کوئی اس عہد کو جو اس نے خدا سے کیا تھا پورا کرے گا اللہ اس کو اس کا بہت بڑا اجر دے گا۔
English - Short Commentary Translation
Verily, those who swear allegiance to thee,[2769] indeed, swear allegiance to Allah. The hand of Allah is over their hands. So whoever breaks his oath, breaks it to his own loss; and whoever fulfils the covenant that he has made with Allah. He will, surely, give him a great reward.
The reference is to the oath taken by the believers at the hand of the Holy Prophet under a tree at Hudaibiyah (Bukhari).

Commentary:
The reference in the verse is to the oath taken by the believers at the hands of the Holy Prophet under a tree at Hudaibiyyah when a rumour reached him that ‘Uthman, his special envoy, had been killed by the Meccans. The believers were asked to declare on solemn oath that they would stand by the Holy Prophet at all costs and would fight under his banner to the bitter end.

اے نبیؐ، جو لوگ تم سے بیعت کر رہے تھے وہ دراصل اللہ سے بیعت کر رہے تھے ان کے ہاتھ پر اللہ کا ہاتھ تھا اب جو اس عہد کو توڑے گا اُس کی عہد شکنی کا وبال اس کی اپنی ہی ذات پر ہوگا، اور جو اُس عہد کو وفا کرے گا جو اس نے اللہ سے کیا ہے، اللہ عنقریب اس کو بڑا اجر عطا فرمائے گا
English - Sahih
Indeed, those who pledge allegiance to you, [O Muhammad] - they are actually pledging allegiance to Allah. The hand of Allah is over their hands. So he who breaks his word only breaks it to the detriment of himself. And he who fulfills that which he has promised Allah - He will give him a great reward.

بے شک جو لوگ آپ سے بیعت کر رہے ہیں وہ الله ہی سے بیعت کر رہے ہیں ان کے ہاتھوں پر الله کا ہاتھ ہے پس جو اس عہد کو) تو ڑ دے گا سو توڑنے کا وبال خود اسی پر ہو گا اور جو وہ عہد پورا کرے گا جو اس نے الله سے کیا ہے سو عقریب وہ اسے بہت بڑا اجر دے گا
