قَالُوا۟ تَٱللَّهِ لَقَدْ عَلِمْتُم مَّا جِئْنَا لِنُفْسِدَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا كُنَّا سَٰرِقِينَ
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
They answered, ‘By Allah, you know well that we came not to act corruptly in the land, and we are not thieves.’
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
انہوں نے (جواباً) کہا اللہ کی قسم! تم یقیناً جان چکے ہو کہ ہم اس لئے نہیں آئے کہ زمین میں فساد کریں اور ہم ہرگز چور نہیں ہیں۔

Ils répondirent : « Par Allāh ; vous savez bien que nous ne sommes pas venus pour créer le désordre dans le pays, et nous ne sommes pas des voleurs. »

Sie erwiderten: "Bei Allah, ihr wisset doch, dass wir nicht gekommen sind, um Unheil im Land zu stiften, und wir sind keine Diebe."

他们 (回答) 说: “我们凭安拉为证, 你们知道我们不是来 (此国) 制造混乱的, 我们不是窃贼。”

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
انہوں نے کہا (کہ) اللہ کی قسم! تم جانتے ہو کہ ہم (یہاں) اس لئے نہیں آئے کہ ملک میں فساد کریں اور نہ (ہی) ہم چور ہیں۔

They answered, ‘By Allah, you know well that we came not to make mischief in the land, and we are not thieves.’
