ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَالُوا۟ لِلَّذِينَ كَرِهُوا۟ مَا نَزَّلَ ٱللَّهُ سَنُطِيعُكُمْ فِى بَعْضِ ٱلْأَمْرِ ۖ وَٱللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ إِسْرَارَهُمْ
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
That is because they said to those who hate what Allah has revealed, ‘We will obey you in some matters;’ and Allah knows their secrets.
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
یہ اس لئے ہوا کہ انہوں نے ان لوگوں سے جنہوں نے اس سے کراہت کی جو اللہ نے اتارا (یہ) کہا کہ ہم ضرور بعض امور میں تمہاری اطاعت کریں گے۔ اور اللہ اُن کی رازداری کو جانتا ہے۔

C’est parce qu’ils ont dit à ceux qui détestent ce qu’Allāh a révélé : « Nous vous obéissons dans certaines choses. » Et Allāh connaît leurs secrets.

Dies, weil sie zu denen, die das hassen, was Allah herniedersandte, sprachen: "Wir wollen euch in einigen Sachen folgen." Und Allah kennt ihre Heimlichkeiten.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
یہ اس لئے (ہوا) ہے کہ وہ ان لوگوں کو جو خدائی تعلیم کو ناپسندیدگی کی نگاہ سے دیکھ رہے ہیں کہہ رہے ہیں کہ ہم تمہاری بعض[3] باتوں میں اطاعت کریں گے اور اللہ ان کی راز داری کو جانتا ہے۔
مطلب یہ کہ اسلام کے مقابلہ میں ہم ایک حد تک تمہارا ساتھ دیں گے۔ ہاں پھنس ہی گئے تو مجبوری ہے۔
English - Short Commentary Translation
That is because they said to those who hate what Allah has revealed, ‘We will obey you in some matters,’[2755] and Allah knows their secrets.
The Hypocrites of Medina would not side with disbelievers openly and unreservedly. A hypocrite is too wily a person to burn his boats. He faces both ways.

Commentary:
The reference in the words, "those who hate what Allah has revealed," is to disbelievers who never liked that any good should be sent down to the Faithful from their Lord (2:106). The hypocrites would not side with disbelievers openly and unreservedly. A hypocrite is too wily a person to burn his boats. He faces both ways. But, says the verse, God would expose their double-facedness. This is the significance of the words "Allah knows their secrets."

اِسی لیے انہوں نے اللہ کے نازل کردہ دین کو ناپسند کرنے والوں سے کہہ دیا کہ بعض معاملات میں ہم تمہاری مانیں گے اللہ اُن کی یہ خفیہ باتیں خوب جانتا ہے

That is because they said to those who disliked what Allah sent down, "We will obey you in part of the matter." And Allah knows what they conceal.
