قُلْ كُلٌّ مُّتَرَبِّصٌ فَتَرَبَّصُوا۟ ۖ فَسَتَعْلَمُونَ مَنْ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلصِّرَٰطِ ٱلسَّوِىِّ وَمَنِ ٱهْتَدَىٰ
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
Say, ‘Each one is waiting; wait ye, therefore, and you will know who are the people of the right path and who follow true guidance.’
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
تُو کہہ دے کہ ہر ایک منتظر ہے، پس تم بھی انتظار کرو۔ پھر تم ضرور جان لوگے کہ کون سیدھے راستے والے ہیں اور وہ کون ہے جس نے ہدایت پائی۔
French
Dis : « Chacun attend ; attendez donc vous aussi, et certainement vous saurez qui sont les gens du droit chemin, et qui suivent la vraie direction. »

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
تو کہہ دے‘ ہر ایک شخص اپنے انجام کی انتظار میں ہے پس تم بھی (اپنے انجام کی) انتظار کرتے رہو۔ اور تم جلدی ہی معلوم کر لو گے کہ کون شخص سیدھے راستہ پر چلنے والوں اور ہدایت پانے والوں میں سے ہے (اور کون نہیں) ۔
English - Short Commentary Translation
Say, ‘Each one is waiting; wait ye, therefore, and you will soon know who are the people of the right path and who follow true guidance, and who do not.

Commentary:
The verse means to say that believers are waiting, and disbelievers should also wait, and time itself will show as to who achieves success and who meets with failure and comes to grief.

اے محمدؐ، ان سے کہو، ہر ایک انجام کار کے انتظار میں ہے، پس اب منتظر رہو، عنقریب تمہیں معلوم ہو جائے گا کہ کون سیدھی راہ چلنے والے ہیں اور کون ہدایت یافتہ ہیں
