لِّنَفْتِنَهُمْ فِيهِ ۚ وَمَن يُعْرِضْ عَن ذِكْرِ رَبِّهِۦ يَسْلُكْهُ عَذَابًا صَعَدًا
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
That We may try them thereby. And whoso turns away from the remembrance of his Lord — He will push him into an overwhelmingly severe punishment.
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
تاکہ اس میں ان کی آزمائش کریں۔ اور جو اپنے ربّ کے ذکر سے اِعراض کرے اُسے وہ ایک ہمیشہ بڑھتے رہنے والے عذاب میں جھونک دے گا۔

Pour que Nous les éprouvions par là. Et quiconque se détourne du souvenir de son Seigneur – Il le poussera dans un châtiment sans cesse croissant.

تا کہ اس کے ذریعہ سے ان کی آزمائش کریں اور جو شخص بھی اپنے رب کے ذکر سے اعراض کرتا ہے وہ (خدا) اس کو ایسے عذاب کے رستہ پر چلاتا ہے جو بڑھتا ہی جاتا ہے (اور انہوں نے وہی طریقہ اختیار کیا ہے)

Commentary:
Wealth is a source of great trial and temptation. Instead of being grateful to God for His bestowing riches upon them, wealthy people generally are neglectful of their duties to God and man.

تاکہ اس نعمت سے ان کی آزمائش کریں اور جو اپنے رب کے ذکر سے منہ موڑے گا اس کا رب اسے سخت عذاب میں مبتلا کر دے گا

So We might test them therein. And whoever turns away from the remembrance of his Lord He will put into arduous punishment.
