وَإِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَٰتُنَا بَيِّنَٰتٍ تَعْرِفُ فِى وُجُوهِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ ٱلْمُنكَرَ ۖ يَكَادُونَ يَسْطُونَ بِٱلَّذِينَ يَتْلُونَ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَٰتِنَا ۗ قُلْ أَفَأُنَبِّئُكُم بِشَرٍّ مِّن ذَٰلِكُمُ ۗ ٱلنَّارُ وَعَدَهَا ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ ۖ وَبِئْسَ ٱلْمَصِيرُ
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
And when Our clear Signs are recited unto them, thou wilt notice a denial on the faces of those who disbelieve. They would well-nigh attack those who recite Our Signs to them. Say, ‘Shall I tell you of something worse than that? It is the Fire! Allah has promised it to those who disbelieve. And a vile destination it is!’
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
اور جب اُن پر ہماری کھلی کھلی آیات پڑھی جاتی ہیں تو اُن کے چہروں پر جنہوں نے انکار کیا تُو ناپسندیدگی (کے آثار) پہچان لیتا ہے۔ قریب ہے کہ وہ ان پر جھپٹ پڑیں جو اُن کے سامنے ہماری آیات پڑھتے ہیں۔ پس تُو کہہ دے کہ کیا میں تمہیں اس سے زیادہ شر والی بات سے آگاہ کروں۔ آگ۔ اس کا اللہ نے ان سے وعدہ کیا ہے جنہوں نے کفر کیا اور بہت ہی برا ٹھکانا ہے۔
French
Et lorsque Nos Signes manifestes leur sont récités, tu verras la réprobation sur les visages de ceux qui ne croient pas. Peu s’en faut qu’ils n’attaquent ceux qui leur récitent Nos Signes. Dis : « Vous parlerai-je de quelque chose de pire ? C’est le Feu ! Allāh l’a promis à ceux qui ne croient pas. Et quelle mauvaise destination ! »

Wenn Unsere klaren Zeichen ihnen vorgetragen werden, dann kannst du auf dem Antlitz derer, die ungläubig sind, Verneinung wahrnehmen. Sie möchten am liebsten über die herfallen, die ihnen Unsere Zeichen vortragen. Sprich: "Soll ich euch von etwas Schlimmerem als diesem Kunde geben? Dem Feuer! Allah hat es denen verheißen, die ungläubig sind. Und eine üble Bestimmung ist es!"

Mas cuando se les recitan Nuestros claros Signos, observarás la negativa en los rostros de los incrédulos. Parecen dispuestos a atacar a quienes les recitan Nuestros Signos. Diles: “¿Puedo deciros algo peor que eso? ¡Es el Fuego! Al-lah lo ha prometido a los que no creen. ¡Qué pésimo destino es!”.
اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
اور جب ان کے سامنے ہماری کھلی کھلی آیات پڑھی جاتی ہیں تو تو منکروں کے چہروں میں (صاف صاف) ناپسندیدگی (کے آثار) دیکھتاہے۔ قریب ہوتا ہے کہ وہ ان لوگوں پر حملہ کر دیں جو ان کو ہماری آیتیں پڑھ کر سنا رہے ہوتے ہیں۔ تو کہہ دے‘ کیا میں تم کو اس حالت سے بھی ایک بری حالت کی خبر دوں؟ (اور وہ) جہنم (میں پڑنا) ہے۔ اللہ نے اس کا وعدہ منکروں سے کیا ہے اور وہ برا ٹھکانا ہے۔

[d]And when Our clear Signs are recited unto them, thou seest on the faces of those, who disbelieve, manifest signs of displeasure. They would well-nigh attack those who recite Our Signs to them. Say, [a]‘Shall I tell you of something worse than that? It is the Fire! Allah has promised it to those who disbelieve. And an evil destination it is!’

یسطون (would attack) is formed from سطا. They say سطا به او علیه i.e. he sprang or rushed upon him and overpowered him; he made an assault or attack upon him. سطا الفرس means, the horse went at random or in a headlong manner, not obeying guidance; he went with wide step or raised his tail in running. سطا الماء means, the water was or became abundant (Lane & Aqrab).

اور جب ان کو ہماری صاف صاف آیات سنائی جاتی ہیں تو تم دیکھتے ہو کہ منکرین حق کے چہرے بگڑنے لگتے ہیں اور ایسا محسُوس ہوتا ہے کہ ابھی وہ اُن لوگوں پر ٹوٹ پڑیں گے جو انہیں ہماری آیات سناتے ہیں ان سے کہو "میں بتاؤں تمہیں کہ اس سے بدتر چیز کیا ہے؟ آگ، اللہ نے اُسی کا وعدہ اُن لوگوں کے حق میں کر رکھا ہے جو قبول حق سے انکار کریں، اور وہ بہت ہی برا ٹھکانہ ہے"

And when Our verses are recited to them as clear evidences, you recognize in the faces of those who disbelieve disapproval. They are almost on the verge of assaulting those who recite to them Our verses. Say, "Then shall I inform you of [what is] worse than that? [It is] the Fire which Allah has promised those who disbelieve, and wretched is the destination."

اور جب انہیں ہماری کھلی کھلی آیتیں پڑھ کر سنائی جائیں تو تم منکروں کے چہروں میں ناراضگی دیکھو گے قریب ہوتے ہیں کہ جو لوگ انہیں ہماری آیتیں پڑھ کر سناتے ہیں ان پر حملہ کر دیں کہہ دو کیا میں تمہیں اس سے بھی بدتر بات بتاؤں آگ ہے کہ جس کا الله نے منکروں سے وعدہ کیا ہے اور وہ بری جگہ ہے

And when are recited to them Our Verses clear, you will recognize on (the) faces (of) those who disbelieve the denial. They almost attack those who recite to them Our Verses. English - Arberry
And when Our signs are recited to them, clear signs, thou recognisest in the faces of the unbelievers denial; wellnigh they rush upon those who recite to them Our signs. Say: 'Shall I tell you of something worse than that? The Fire -- God has promised it to the unbelievers -- an evil homecoming!'

When Our Signs are plainly recited to them, you will perceive utter repugnance on their faces and it all but seems as if they will soon pounce upon those who recite Our Signs to them. Say: "Shall I tell you what is worse than that? The Fire with which Allah has threatened those who disbelieve. That is truly an evil end."
