كَٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ كَانُوٓا۟ أَشَدَّ مِنكُمْ قُوَّةً وَأَكْثَرَ أَمْوَٰلًا وَأَوْلَٰدًا فَٱسْتَمْتَعُوا۟ بِخَلَٰقِهِمْ فَٱسْتَمْتَعْتُم بِخَلَٰقِكُمْ كَمَا ٱسْتَمْتَعَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكُم بِخَلَٰقِهِمْ وَخُضْتُمْ كَٱلَّذِى خَاضُوٓا۟ ۚ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ حَبِطَتْ أَعْمَٰلُهُمْ فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا وَٱلْءَاخِرَةِ ۖ وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْخَٰسِرُونَ
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
Even as those before you. They were mightier than you in power and richer in possessions and children. They enjoyed their lot for a short time, so have you enjoyed your lot as those before you enjoyed their lot. And you indulged in idle talk as they indulged in idle talk. It is they whose works shall be of no avail in this world and the Hereafter. And it is they who are the losers.
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
ان لوگوں کی طرح جو تم سے پہلے تھے۔ وہ قوت میں تم سے زیادہ تھے اور اموال اور اولاد میں بڑھ کر۔ انہوں نے اپنے نصیب سے جتنا فائدہ اٹھانا تھا اٹھا لیا۔ تم بھی اپنے نصیب سے فائدہ اٹھا چکے جس طرح ان لوگوں نے جو تم سے پہلے تھے اپنے نصیب سے فائدہ اٹھایا۔ اور تم بھی لغو باتوں میں منہمک ہو جیسے وہ لغو باتوں میں منہمک رہے۔ یہی وہ لوگ ہیں جن کے اعمال دنیا میں بھی اور آخرت میں بھی ضائع ہوگئے اور یہی وہ لوگ ہیں جو درحقیقت گھاٹا کھانے والے ہیں۔

Tout comme ceux qui étaient avant vous. Ils étaient plus puissants que vous, et plus riches en biens et en enfants. Ils ont joui pour un temps de leur part comme vous aussi avez joui de votre part comme vos devanciers ont joui de leur part. Et vous vous êtes livrés à des balivernes comme ils s’y livraient. Ce sont eux dont les œuvres ne serviront à rien ici-bas ni dans l’au-delà. Et ceux-là sont les perdants.

Wie jenen, die vor euch waren. Sie waren mächtiger als ihr an Kraft und reicher an Gut und Kindern. Sie erfreuten sich ihres Loses; auch ihr habt euch eures Loses erfreut, gerade so wie jene vor euch sich ihres Loses erfreuten. Und ihr ergötztet euch an müßiger Rede, wie jene sich an müßiger Rede ergötzten. Ihre Werke sollen ihnen nichts fruchten, weder in dieser Welt noch in der künftigen. Und sie sind die Verlorenen.

(伪信的人啊!这个惩罚将)像你们之前人们的 (惩罚), 他们比你们有更大的力量、更多的财富和后裔。他们享受了他们的一份, 你们享受了你们的一份, 正像你们之前的人享受了他们的回报。你们像前人一样纵情戏言。[a]那些人的行为在今世和后世都是无用的。那些人就是损失者。
15:106.

Così avvenne anche a quelli prima di voi. Erano ben più potenti di voi e più ricchi di beni e figli. Godettero per breve tempo quanto avevano; così voi avete goduto quanto avevate come quelli prima di voi godettero quanto avevano. E voi vi abbandonaste alle chiacchiere come essi si abbandonarono alle chiacchiere. Sono loro le cui opere saranno vane in questo mondo e nell'altro. E sono costoro i perdenti.

Al igual que los que os precedieron. Eran superiores a vosotros en poder y más ricos en posesiones e hijos. Disfrutaron de su suerte durante un breve tiempo y vosotros disfrutasteis de vuestra suerte como los que os precedieron disfrutaron de la suya. Y os dedicasteis a conversaciones inútiles igual que ellos se dedicaron al mismo tipo de conversaciones. Son aquellos cuyas obras no les servirán de nada en este mundo ni en el Más Allá. Ellos son los perdedores.
اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
(اے منافقو! یہ عذاب) ان لوگوں (کی سزا) کی طرح (ہوگا) جو تم سے پہلے گذر چکے ہیں۔ وہ تم سے زیادہ طاقتور تھے وہ زیادہ مال دار (تھے) اور زیادہ اولاد رکھتے تھے پس انہوں نے اپنے حصہ کے مطابق فائدہ اٹھایا اور تم نے اپنے حصہ کے مطابق فائدہ اٹھایا۔ جس طرح کہ تم سے پہلے لوگوں نے اپنے حصہ کے مطابق فائدہ اٹھایا اور تم نے اسی طرح ہنسی مذاق کیا جس طرح ان لوگوں نے ہنسی مذاق کیا تھا۔ ان کے عمل دنیا کے متعلق بھی اور آخرت کے متعلق بھی ضائع ہو گئے اور وہ لوگ نقصان اٹھانے والے (لوگوں میں شامل) ہو گئے۔

Even as those before you—they were mightier than you in power and had more wealth and children. They enjoyed their lot for a time, so have you enjoyed your lot as those before you enjoyed their lot. And you indulged in idle talk as they indulged in idle talk. [b]It is they whose works shall be of no avail in this world and the Hereafter. And it is they who are the losers.

Allah promises these hypocrites and disbelievers the fire of Hell even as He promised those before you. They were mightier than you in power and richer in possessions and children. They enjoyed their lot for a short time, so have you enjoyed your lot as those before you enjoyed their lot. And you indulged in idle talk as they indulged in idle talk. [b]It is they whose works shall be of no avail in this world and the Hereafter. And it is they who are the losers.[1223]

Important Words:
The word الذی in the clauseکالذی خاضوا (as they indulged in idle talk) has been variously explained. Either (1) it is in the sense of منor ما . being used as a plural and giving the sense of الذین; or (2) it has the wordخوض understood before it, the full clause being کخوض الذی خاضوہ i.e. like the idle talk in which they indulged; or (3) it has the word فوج or some similar word understood before it, the full clause in this case being کالفوج الذی خاضوا i.e. like the party which indulged in idle talk, etc. (Kashshaf & Shaukani).
Commentary:
The reference in the pronoun "you" in the words, before you, may be either to the hypocrites in general or to ‘Abdullah bin Ubayy (the leader of the hypocrites) and his close associates in particular. The words, those before you, are explained in the following verse.

تم لوگوں کے رنگ ڈھنگ وہی ہیں جو تمہارے پیش روؤں کے تھے وہ تم سے زیادہ زور آور اور تم سے بڑھ کر مال اور اولاد والے تھے پھر انہوں نے دنیا میں اپنے حصہ کے مزے لوٹ لیے اور تم نے بھی اپنے حصے کے مزے اسی طرح لوٹے جیسے انہوں نے لوٹے تھے، اور ویسی ہی بحثوں میں تم بھی پڑے جیسی بحثوں میں وہ پڑے تھے، سو ان کا انجام یہ ہوا کہ دنیا اور آخرت میں ان کا سب کیا دھرا ضائع ہو گیا اور وہی خسارے میں ہیں

[You disbelievers are] like those before you; they were stronger than you in power and more abundant in wealth and children. They enjoyed their portion [of worldly enjoyment], and you have enjoyed your portion as those before you enjoyed their portion, and you have engaged [in vanities] like that in which they engaged. [It is] those whose deeds have become worthless in this world and in the Hereafter, and it is they who are the losers.

جس طرح تم سے پہلے لوگ تم سے طاقت میں زيادہ تھے اور مال اور اولاد میں بھی زيادہ تھے پھر وہ اپنے حصہ سے فائدہ اٹھا گئے اور تم نے اپنے حصہ سے فائدہ اٹھایا جیسے تم سے پہلہے لوگ اپنے حصہ سے فائدہ اٹھا گئے اور تم بھی انہیں کی سی چال چلتے ہو یہ وہ لوگ ہیں جن کے اعمال دنیا اور آخرت میں ضائع ہو گئے اور وہی نقصان اٹھانے والے ہیں

Like those before you they were mightier than you (in) strength, and more abundant (in) wealth and children. So they enjoyed their portion, and you have enjoyed your portion like enjoyed those before you their portion, and you indulge like the one who indulges (in idle talk). English - Arberry
those before you, who were stronger than you in might, and more abundant in wealth and children; they took enjoyment in their share; so do you take enjoyment in your share, as those before you took enjoyment in their share. You have plunged as they plunged. Those -- their works have failed in this world and in the world to come; those -- they are the losers.

Your ways are like the ways of those who have gone before you. They were mightier than you in power, and more abundant in riches and children. They enjoyed their lot for a while as you have enjoyed your lot, and you also engaged in idle talk as they did. Commentary:
All opposition to truth on the part of disbelievers springs from pride and arrogance, based on their wealth and power, their prestige, position and numbers.

انہیں نے ہمیشہ یہی کہا کہ ہم تم سے زیادہ مال اولاد رکھتے ہیں اور ہم ہرگز سزا پانے والے نہیں ہیں
