6:92

وَمَا قَدَرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ حَقَّ قَدْرِهِۦٓ إِذْ قَالُوا۟ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ بَشَرٍ مِّن شَىْءٍ ۗ قُلْ مَنْ أَنزَلَ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ ٱلَّذِى جَآءَ بِهِۦ مُوسَىٰ نُورًا وَهُدًى لِّلنَّاسِ ۖ تَجْعَلُونَهُۥ قَرَاطِيسَ تُبْدُونَهَا وَتُخْفُونَ كَثِيرًا ۖ وَعُلِّمْتُم مَّا لَمْ تَعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنتُمْ وَلَآ ءَابَآؤُكُمْ ۖ قُلِ ٱللَّهُ ۖ ثُمَّ ذَرْهُمْ فِى خَوْضِهِمْ يَلْعَبُونَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
And they do not make a just estimate of Allah, when they say: ‘Allah has not revealed anything to any man.’ Say: ‘Who revealed the Book which Moses brought, a light and guidance for the people — though you treat it as scraps of paper which you show while you conceal much; and you have been taught that which neither you nor your fathers knew?’ — Say: ‘Allah’. Then leave them to amuse themselves with their vain discourse.
9:69

كَٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ كَانُوٓا۟ أَشَدَّ مِنكُمْ قُوَّةً وَأَكْثَرَ أَمْوَٰلًا وَأَوْلَٰدًا فَٱسْتَمْتَعُوا۟ بِخَلَٰقِهِمْ فَٱسْتَمْتَعْتُم بِخَلَٰقِكُمْ كَمَا ٱسْتَمْتَعَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكُم بِخَلَٰقِهِمْ وَخُضْتُمْ كَٱلَّذِى خَاضُوٓا۟ ۚ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ حَبِطَتْ أَعْمَٰلُهُمْ فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا وَٱلْءَاخِرَةِ ۖ وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْخَٰسِرُونَ

Children / Shall Not AvailLosers (Khasirun)Moral Traits / Vain, Idle TalkWealth / Love Of, A TrialHypocrites (Munafiqin)
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
Even as those before you. They were mightier than you in power and richer in possessions and children. They enjoyed their lot for a short time, so have you enjoyed your lot as those before you enjoyed their lot. And you indulged in idle talk as they indulged in idle talk. It is they whose works shall be of no avail in this world and the Hereafter. And it is they who are the losers.
23:4

وَٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ عَنِ ٱللَّغْوِ مُعْرِضُونَ

Believers (Mu’min) / Who Enjoin GoodLaghw / VainMoral Traits / Vain, Idle TalkParadise (Jannah) / Rewards Of, For The Righteous Men And Women, The Martyrs, The (Muhajirun), The Patient, Those Who Fear Allah, The PenitentSpiritual ProgressZakat

And who shun all that which is vain,
28:56

وَإِذَا سَمِعُوا۟ ٱللَّغْوَ أَعْرَضُوا۟ عَنْهُ وَقَالُوا۟ لَنَآ أَعْمَٰلُنَا وَلَكُمْ أَعْمَٰلُكُمْ سَلَٰمٌ عَلَيْكُمْ لَا نَبْتَغِى ٱلْجَٰهِلِينَ

Actions (A‘mal) / Each Responsible For His OwnLaghw / VainMoral Traits / Vain, Idle TalkSalam / Greetings OfBelievers (Mu’min) / Who Enjoin Good
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
And when they hear vain talk, they turn away from it and say, ‘Unto us our works and unto you your works. Peace be to you. We seek not the ignorant.’
46:9

أَمْ يَقُولُونَ ٱفْتَرَىٰهُ ۖ قُلْ إِنِ ٱفْتَرَيْتُهُۥ فَلَا تَمْلِكُونَ لِى مِنَ ٱللَّهِ شَيْـًٔا ۖ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا تُفِيضُونَ فِيهِ ۖ كَفَىٰ بِهِۦ شَهِيدًۢا بَيْنِى وَبَيْنَكُمْ ۖ وَهُوَ ٱلْغَفُورُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ

Allah / Is SufficientMoral Traits / Vain, Idle TalkWitness / Allah Bears Witness

Do they say, ‘He has forged it?’ Say, ‘If I have forged it, you cannot avail me aught against Allah. He knows best what mischievous talk you indulge in. Sufficient is He for a Witness between me and you. And He is the Most Forgiving, the Merciful.’
52:13

ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ فِى خَوْضٍ يَلْعَبُونَ

Moral Traits / Vain, Idle TalkPastime (Lahw), (La‘b), SportPlay (Lahw), (La‘b), SportSport / Jest, (La‘b)Day Of Requital / Resurrection, (Yaumul-Qiyamah, Yaumud-Din, Yaumul-Akhirah, Yaumul-Ba‘th) / Heaven And Earth On

Who sportingly indulge in idle talk.
70:43

فَذَرْهُمْ يَخُوضُوا۟ وَيَلْعَبُوا۟ حَتَّىٰ يُلَٰقُوا۟ يَوْمَهُمُ ٱلَّذِى يُوعَدُونَ

Day Of Your’s (Yaumukum)Mecca (Makkah) / Victory OfMoral Traits / Vain, Idle TalkPastime (Lahw), (La‘b), SportPlay (Lahw), (La‘b), SportPromise / To Disbelievers, To HypocritesResurrection / Day Of

So leave them alone to indulge in idle talk and play until they meet that day of theirs which they are promised,
74:46

وَكُنَّا نَخُوضُ مَعَ ٱلْخَآئِضِينَ
