خُذۡ مِنۡ اَمۡوٰلِہِمۡ صَدَقَۃً تُطَہِّرُہُمۡ وَتُزَکِّیۡہِمۡ بِہَا وَصَلِّ عَلَیۡہِمۡ ۖ اِنَّ صَلَوٰتَکَ سَکَنٌ لَّہُمۡ ۗ وَاللّٰہُ سَمِیۡعٌ عَلِیۡمٌ
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
Take alms out of their wealth, so that thou mayest cleanse them and purify them thereby. And pray for them; thy prayer is indeed a source of tranquillity for them. And Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
تُو ان کے مالوں میں سے صدقہ قبول کرلیا کر، اس ذریعہ سے تُو اُنہیں پاک کرے گا نیز اُن کا تزکیہ کرے گا۔ اور اُن کے لئے دعا کیا کر یقیناً تیری دعا اُن کے لئے سکینت کا موجب ہوگی اور اللہ بہت سننے والا (اور) دائمی علم رکھنے والا ہے۔
French
Prends pour donner aux pauvres une partie de leurs biens en aumône, afin que par ce moyen tu les rends propres et tu les purifies. Et prie pour eux ; tes prières sont en vérité pour eux une source de tranquillité. Et Allāh entend tout et sait tout.

Nimm Almosen von ihrem Besitz, auf dass du sie dadurch reinigen und läutern mögest. Und bete für sie, denn dein Gebet ist ihnen Beruhigung. Und Allah ist allhörend, allwissend.

(使者啊!) 要从他们的财富中征收施舍金, 以便使他们纯洁, 为他们创造进步的条件。要为他们祷告; 你的祷告确是他们安宁的源泉。安拉最听你的 (祈祷), 最知你的 (一切情况)。

Accetta elemosine dal loro patrimonio, affinché tu possa così mondarli e purificarli. E prega per loro. La tua preghiera in effetti sarà per loro fonte di tranquillità. E Allah è Colui che tutto ode, l'Onnisciente.

Toma limosnas de su riqueza para que los limpies y purifiques con llas. Y ora por ellos; tu oración es, en verdad, una fuente de tranquilidad para ellos. Pues Al-lah es Quien todo lo oye, el Omnisciente.
اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
(اے رسول)! ان[1] کے مالوں میں سے صدقہ لے تا کہ تو انہیں پاک کرے اور ان کی ترقی [2]کے سامان مہیا کرے اور ان کے لئے دعائیں بھی کرتا رہ۔ کیونکہ تیری دعا ان کی تسکین کا موجب ہے اور اللہ تیری دعاؤں کو بہت سننے والا (اور حالات کو) جاننے والا ہے۔
یعنی مومنوں کے۔
’’ترقی کے سامان مہیا کرے‘‘ تُزَکِّیْھِمْ کا ترجمہ ہے جو زکوٰ ۃ سے نکلا ہے اور اس کے ایک معنے بڑھانے اور ترقی دینے کے بھی ہوتے ہیں اور یہی معنے اس جگہ کے مناسب حال ہیں۔

Commentary:
The persons referred to in the preceding verse brought a part of their property and begged the Holy Prophet to take the same as alms, but he told them that he had no instructions to accept anything from them, whereupon this verse was revealed, allowing him to accept their alms and to pray for them.
اردو ترجمہ مودودی
اے نبیؐ، تم ان کے اموال میں سے صدقہ لے کر انہیں پاک کرو اور (نیکی کی راہ میں) انہیں بڑھاؤ، اور ان کے حق میں دعائے رحمت کرو کیونکہ تمہاری دعا ان کے لیے وجہ تسکین ہوگی، اللہ سب کچھ سنتا اور جانتا ہے
English - Sahih
Take, [O, Muhammad], from their wealth a charity by which you purify them and cause them increase, and invoke [Allah 's blessings] upon them. Indeed, your invocations are reassurance for them. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing.

ان کے مالوں میں سے زکواة لے کہ اس سے ان کے ظاہر کو پاک اور ان کے باطن کو صاف کر دے اورانہیں دعا دے بے شک تیری دعا ان کے لیے تسکین ہے اوراللہ سننے والا جاننے والا ہے

Take of their wealth a freewill offering, to purify them and to cleanse them thereby, and pray for them; thy prayers are a comfort for them; God is All-hearing, All-knowing.

اے لوگو جو ایمان لائے ہو! جب تم رسول سے (کوئی ذاتی) مشورہ کرنا چاہو تو اپنے مشورہ سے پہلے صدقہ دیا کرو۔ یہ بات تمہارے لئے بہتر اور زیادہ پاکیزہ ہے۔ پس اگر تم (اپنے پاس) کچھ نہ پاؤ تو یقیناً اللہ بہت بخشنے والا (اور) بار بار رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

Ô vous qui croyez ! quand vous consultez le Messager en particulier, faites une offrande avant votre consultation. Cela est plus avantageux pour vous, et plus pur aussi. Mais si vous ne trouvez rien à donner, alors Allāh est Très-Pardonnant, Miséricordieux.
German
O die ihr glaubt, wenn ihr euch mit dem Gesandten vertraulich beraten wollt, so schickt Almosen eurer vertraulichen Beratung voraus. Das ist besser für euch und lauterer. Wenn ihr aber nicht (die Möglichkeit dazu) findet, dann ist Allah fürwahr allverzeihend, barmherzig.

¡Oh vosotros, los creyentes! Cuando consultéis al Mensajero en privado, entregad una ofrenda antes de la consulta. Esto es mejor y más puro para vosotros. Pero si no encontráis nada que dar, sabed que Al-lah es el Sumo Indulgente, Misericordioso.

اے ایمان دارو! جب تم رسول سے الگ مشورہ کرنا چاہو تو اپنے مشورہ سے پہلے کچھ صدقہ دیا کرو۔ یہ تمہارے لئے اچھا ہوگا اور دل کو پاک کرنے کا موجب ہوگا (مگر یہ حکم انہی کے لئے ہے جن کو توفیق ہو) اگر تم (کوئی چیز بھی صدقہ کے لئے) نہ پاؤ تو (ڈرو نہیں) اللہ بہت بخشنے والا (اور) باربار رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

The believers should have due regard for the precious time of the Holy Prophet and as a compensation for taking his time to spend some money in charity before going to him for consultation. The Holy Prophet has been called "Counsellor" in the Bible (Isa. 9: 6).
