وَرَفَعۡنَا فَوۡقَہُمُ الطُّوۡرَ بِمِیۡثٰقِہِمۡ وَقُلۡنَا لَہُمُ ادۡخُلُوا الۡبَابَ سُجَّدًا وَّقُلۡنَا لَہُمۡ لَا تَعۡدُوۡا فِی السَّبۡتِ وَاَخَذۡنَا مِنۡہُمۡ مِّیۡثٰقًا غَلِیۡظًا
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
And We raised high above them the Mount while making a covenant with them, and We said to them, ‘Enter the gate submissively,’ and We said to them, ‘Transgress not in the matter of the Sabbath.’ And We took from them a firm covenant.

اور ہم نے ان کے میثاق کے باعث ان پر طُور کو بلند کیا اور ہم نے ان سے کہا کہ (اللہ کی) اطاعت کرتے ہوئے دروازے میں داخل ہو جاؤ اور ہم نے اُنہیں کہا کہ سبت کے بارہ میں کسی قسم کا تجاوز نہ کرو۔ اور اُن سے ہم نے ایک بہت پختہ عہد لیا۔
French
Et Nous avons fait le Mont les dominer de haut lors de la conclusion d’un pacte avec eux, et Nous leur avons dit « Entrez avec soumission par la porte. » Nous leur avons dit aussi : « Ne transgressez pas le Sabbat. » Et Nous avons pris d’eux un engagement bien ferme.

Und Wir erhoben anlässlich des Bundes mit ihnen den Berg hoch über sie und sprachen zu ihnen: "Tretet ein durch das Tor in Unterwürfigkeit", und Wir sprachen zu ihnen: "Übertretet nicht das Sabbatgebot". Und Wir schlossen einen festen Bund mit ihnen.

E hicimos que el Monte se elevara sobre ellos mientras pactábamos una alianza, y les dijimos: Entrad por la puerta con sumisión”, y les dijimos: “No profanéis el Sabbath”. Y aceptamos su firme pacto.
اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
اور ہم نے ان سے (پختہ) عہد لیتے ہوئے ان پر طور[1] کو بلند کیا اور ہم نے ان سے کہا کہ اس دروازہ میں پوری فرمانبرداری کرتے ہوئے داخل ہو۔ اور ہم نے ان سے (یہ بھی) کہا کہ کہ سبت (کے معاملہ) میں زیادتی نہ کرو۔ اور ہم نے ان سے ایک پختہ عہد لیا۔
یعنی ان کو طُور کے دامن تک لے گئے اور انہیں سامنے اونچا پہاڑ نظر آنے لگا جیسے صحیح بخاری باب الہجرۃ کی حدیث میں حضرت ابوبکرؓ فرماتے ہیں۔ فَرُفِعَتْ لَنَا صَخْرَۃٌ طَوِیْلَۃٌ لَّھَا ظِلٌّ کہ ہمیں سامنے بڑی چٹان دکھائی دی جس کا سایہ تھا۔

اور اِن لوگوں پر طور کو اٹھا کر اِن سے (اُس فرمان کی اطاعت کا) عہد لیا ہم نے اِن کو حکم دیا کہ دروازے میں سجدہ ریز ہوتے ہوئے داخل ہوں ہم نے اِن سے کہا کہ سبت کا قانون نہ توڑو اوراس پر اِن سے پختہ عہد لیا
English - Sahih
And We raised over them the mount for [refusal of] their covenant; and We said to them, "Enter the gate bowing humbly", and We said to them, "Do not transgress on the sabbath", and We took from them a solemn covenant.

And We raised above them the Mount, taking compact with them; and We said to them, 'Enter in at the gate, prostrating'; and We said to them, 'Transgress not the Sabbath'; and We took from them a solemn compact.
