ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ يُقَٰتِلُونَ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ۖ وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ يُقَٰتِلُونَ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱلطَّٰغُوتِ فَقَٰتِلُوٓا۟ أَوْلِيَآءَ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنِ ۖ إِنَّ كَيْدَ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنِ كَانَ ضَعِيفًا
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
Those who believe fight in the cause of Allah, and those who disbelieve fight in the cause of the Evil One. Fight ye therefore against the friends of Satan; surely, Satan’s strategy is weak!
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
وہ لوگ جو ایمان لائے ہیں وہ اللہ کی راہ میں قتال کرتے ہیں اور وہ لوگ جنہوں نے انکار کیا وہ شیطان کی راہ میں قتال کرتے ہیں۔ پس تم شیطان کے دوستوں سے قتال کرو۔ شیطان کی تدبیر یقیناً کمزور ہوتی ہے۔

Les croyants combattent pour la cause d’Allāh et les mécréants combattent pour la cause du Malin. Combattez donc les amis de Satan ; assurément, la stratégie de Satan est faible !

Los creyentes combaten por la causa de Al-lah y los incrédulos por la causa del Maligno. ¡Combatid, pues, contra los amigos de Satanás; pues en verdad la estrategia de Satanás es débil!
اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
جو لوگ مومن ہیں وہ اللہ کی راہ میں جنگ کرتے ہیں۔ اور جو کافر ہیں وہ شیطان کی راہ میں جنگ کرتے ہیں۔ اس لئے تم شیطان کے دوستوں سے جنگ کرو۔ شیطان کی تدبیر کمزور (ہوتی) ہے۔

جن لوگوں نے ایمان کا راستہ اختیار کیا ہے، وہ اللہ کی راہ میں لڑتے ہیں اور جنہوں نے کفر کا راستہ اختیار کیا ہے، و ہ طاغوت کی راہ میں لڑتے ہیں، پس شیطان کے ساتھیوں سے لڑو اور یقین جانو کہ شیطان کی چالیں حقیقت میں نہایت کمزور ہیں
English - Sahih
Those who believe fight in the cause of Allah, and those who disbelieve fight in the cause of Taghut. So fight against the allies of Satan. Indeed, the plot of Satan has ever been weak.

جو ایمان والے ہیں وہ الله کی راہ میں لڑتے ہیں اور جو کافر ہیں وہ شیطان کی راہ میں لڑتے ہیں سو تم شیطان کے ساتھیوں سے لڑو بے شک شیطان کا فریب کمزور ہے

(اور یوسف نے اسے یہ بھی کہا کہ) یہ (بات میں نے) اس لئے کہی ہے کہ اس کو (یعنی عزیز کو) علم ہو جائے کہ میں نے (اس کی) غیر موجودگی میں اس کے حق میں خیانت نہیں کی اور یہ کہ (میرا ایمان ہے کہ) خیانت کرنے والوں کی تدبیر کو اللہ کامیاب نہیں کرتا۔

Joseph said, ‘I asked for this enquiry to be made so that the ‘Aziz might know that I was not unfaithful to him in his absence and that Allah suffers not the device of the unfaithful to succeed;

Joseph said, ‘I asked for that enquiry to be made so that he (the ‘Aziz) might know that I was not unfaithful to him in his absence and that Allah suffers not the device of the unfaithful to succeed.[1556]
Commentary:
The words of this and the following verses were uttered by Joseph and not by the seducing woman as supposed by some commentators. The pronoun "him" in the clause لم اخنه (I was not unfaithful to him) refers to Potiphar. The verse shows Joseph as stating the object for which he had caused this enquiry to be held, which was to clear himself of the possible charge that he had behaved faithlessly towards his master, Potiphar.
The words "the unfaithful" here refer to those who had plotted against Joseph. As Joseph was a Prophet of God, the plotters against him could not succeed, and hence God caused their plot to be exposed and defeated.

(یوسفؑ نے کہا) "اِس سے میری غرض یہ تھی کہ (عزیز) یہ جان لے کہ میں نے درپردہ اس کی خیانت نہیں کی تھی، اور یہ کہ جو خیانت کرتے ہیں ان کی چالوں کو اللہ کامیابی کی راہ پر نہیں لگاتا

That is so al-'Azeez will know that I did not betray him in [his] absence and that Allah does not guide the plan of betrayers.
