بَلْ مَتَّعْتُ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ وَءَابَآءَهُمْ حَتَّىٰ جَآءَهُمُ ٱلْحَقُّ وَرَسُولٌ مُّبِينٌ
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
Nay, but I allowed them and their fathers temporary enjoyment until there came to them the truth and a Messenger who makes his Message clear.

حقیقت یہ ہے کہ میں نے ان لوگوں کو اور ان کے باپ دادوں کو دنیوی فائدہ پہنچایا یہاں تک کہ ان کے پاس حق بھی اور کھول کر بیان کرنے والا رسول بھی آگیا۔

Nay, but I bestowed upon these disbelievers and their fathers worldly provision until there came to them the truth and a Messenger who makes his Message clear.

Nay, but I allowed them and their fathers temporary enjoyment until there came to them the truth and a Messenger who makes his Message clear.[3661]
Commentary:
This verse further says that the plea of following ancestral beliefs on the part of disbelievers is only a pretext. The real reason for their rejecting the Holy Prophet is that they possess worldly wealth and material means which have made them proud and arrogant.

(اس کے باوجود جب یہ لوگ دوسروں کی بندگی کرنے لگے تو میں نے ان کو مٹا نہیں دیا) بلکہ میں اِنہیں اور اِن کے باپ دادا کو متاع حیات دیتا رہا یہاں تک کہ اِن کے پاس حق، اور کھول کھول کر بیان کرنے والا رسول آگیا

However, I gave enjoyment to these [people of Makkah] and their fathers until there came to them the truth and a clear Messenger.
