مطلب یہ ہے کہ بنی اسرائیل کو اس جگہ لے گئے جہاں یہ سب چیزیں میسر تھیں۔ باغ‘ چشمے‘ خزانے اور اعلیٰ درجہ کا ملک (یعنی فلسطین) ورنہ بنی اسرائیل واقعۂ فرعون کے بعد مصر کے حاکم نہیں ہوئے۔
44:29.
The verse does not mean that the springs and gardens and treasures of Pharaoh and the Egyptians were given over to the Israelites. The latter had left Egypt for Canaan, the land of promise which "flowed with milk and honey." It is there that they were given these things. In fact, Palestine resembles Egypt in the abundance of its gardens and springs.

The word کذالک means, it always so happens i.e. whenever a Prophet is raised among a people, God bestows His favours and gifts upon those who accept his message and punishes those who reject it. The pronoun ھا (them) in the expression أورثناھا (We gave them as heritage) does not mean that the springs and gardens and treasures of Pharaoh and the Egyptians were given over to the Israelites. The latter had left Egypt for Canaan, the land of promise which "flowed with milk and honey." It is there that the Israelites were given these things. The pronoun, therefore, refers to the springs, gardens and treasures which resembled those that they had left behind in Egypt. In fact, Palestine quite resembles Egypt in the abundance of its gardens and springs.

اس سے مراد استعارۃً بنی اسرائیل بھی ہیں جن کو بعد میں بڑی عزت ملی اور انہوں نے مصر کو ایک دفعہ تہ و بالا کر دیا اور اس سے مراد فرعون اور اس کی قوم کی نسل بھی ہے کہ گو انہوں نے فرعون جیسی شان نہیں پائی مگر پھر بھی ایک حد تک مصر پر حکومت کرتے رہے۔
