مَتٰعٌ فِی الدُّنۡیَا ثُمَّ اِلَیۡنَا مَرۡجِعُہُمۡ ثُمَّ نُذِیۡقُہُمُ الۡعَذَابَ الشَّدِیۡدَ بِمَا کَانُوۡا یَکۡفُرُوۡنَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

They will have some enjoyment in this world. Then to Us is their return. Then shall We make them taste a severe punishment, because they used to disbelieve.

دنیا میں کچھ فائدہ اٹھانا ہے پھر ہماری ہی طرف اُن کا لَوٹنا ہے پھر ہم انہیں سخت عذاب چکھائیں گے بسبب اس کے کہ وہ کفر کیا کرتے تھے۔

French

Ils auront un faible gain temporaire dans ce monde. Ensuite vers Nous sera leur retour. Alors, Nous leur ferons goûter le châtiment rigoureux, parce qu’ils ne voulaient pas croire.

Ein wenig Genuss in dieser Welt – dann ist zu Uns ihre Heimkehr. Dann werden Wir sie die strenge Strafe kosten lassen dafür, dass sie ungläubig waren.

[b](在他们分内的,) 只是今世 (几天) 的短暂的获益, 继而他们将来惟有归向我。然后因为他们经常不信, 我就令他们尝受严厉的惩罚。

Essi avranno un piccolo guadagno temporaneo in questo mondo. Poi a Noi faranno ritorno. Poi Noi faremo gustare loro un severo castigo per il loro persistere nella miscredenza.

Tendrán una pequeña ganancia temporal en este mundo. Después volverán a nosotros. Entonces les haremos probar un severo castigo, porque no quisieron creer.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

دنیا میں (ان کا حصہ صرف چند روز کے لئے) نفع اٹھانا ہے پھر انہیں ہماری طرف لوٹنا ہوگا۔ پھر اس وجہ سے کہ وہ کفر کرتے (چلے جاتے) ہیں ہم انہیں سخت عذاب (کا مزہ) چکھائیں گے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

دنیا کی چند روزہ زندگی میں مزے کر لیں، پھر ہماری طرف اُن کو پلٹنا ہے پھر ہم اس کفر کے بدلے جس کا ارتکاب وہ کر رہے ہیں ان کو سخت عذاب کا مزہ چکھائیں گے

دنیا میں تھوڑا سا نفع اٹھا لینا ہے پھر ہماری طرف انہیں لوٹنا ہے پھر ہم انہیں سخت عذاب چکھائیں گے بسبب اس کے کہ کفر کرتے تھے

Some enjoyment in this world; then unto Us they shall return; then We shall let them taste the terrible chastisement, for that they were unbelievers.

They may enjoy the life of this world, but in the end they must return to Us, and then We shall cause them to taste severe chastisement for their disbelieving.'
