11:122

وَقُل لِّلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ ٱعْمَلُوا۟ عَلَىٰ مَكَانَتِكُمْ إِنَّا عَٰمِلُونَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And say to those who believe not: ‘Act as best you can, we too are acting.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اور تُو ان سے کہہ دے جو ایمان نہیں لاتے کہ اپنی جگہ جو کر سکتے ہو کرتے رہو۔ ہم بھی یقیناً کچھ کرنے والے ہیں۔

Et dis à ceux qui ne croient pas : « Agissez au mieux de vos capacités ; nous agissons nous aussi.

Sprich zu denen, die nicht glauben: "Handelt nach eurem Vermögen, auch wir handeln.

[b]你对不信的人说: “你们做你所能做的吧! 我们也正在做着;

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور تو ان لوگوں سے جو ایمان نہیں لاتے۔ کہہ دے کہ تم اپنے حسب حال عمل کرو۔ ہم بھی (اپنے حسب حال) عمل کریں گے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

And [b]say to those who believe not, ‘Act as you can,[1355] we too are acting;’

6:136; 11:94; 39:40.

Makanah is derived from Kana or Makana and means, station or power (Aqrab). The verse means that though the great prophecies made in this Surah about the ultimate triumph of Islam and the defeat and discomfiture of disbelievers appear to be incredible and impossible of fulfilment at the present time, yet nothing is impossible with God and these prophecies will surely come to pass.

English - Five Volume Translation

And [b]say to those who believe not: ‘Act as best you can, we too are acting.[1502]

6:136; 11:94; 39:40.

Commentary:

The Holy Prophet is here commanded to say to disbelievers that bootless quarrelling and fighting serves no useful purpose. Time will show who is in the right and who in the wrong by the results that the actions of Muslims and their opponents produce.

رہے وہ لوگ جو ایمان نہیں لاتے، تو ان سے کہہ دو کہ تم اپنے طریقے پر کام کرتے رہو اور ہم اپنے طریقے پر کیے جاتے ہیں

English - Sahih

And say to those who do not believe, "Work according to your position; indeed, we are working.

اوران سے کہہ دو جو ایمان نہیں لاتے اپنے جگہ پر کام کیے جاؤ ہم بھی کام کرتے ہیں
