قَالُوا۟ فَمَا جَزَٰٓؤُهُۥٓ إِن كُنتُمْ كَٰذِبِينَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

They said, ‘What then shall be the punishment for it, if you are found to have told a lie?’

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

انہوں نے پوچھا پھر اس کی کیا جزا ہو گی اگر تم جھوٹے نکلے؟

French

Ils dirent : « Quel en sera donc le châtiment si l’on constate que vous avez menti ? »

German

Jene sprachen: "Was soll dann die Strafe dafür sein, wenn ihr Lügner seid?"

Chinese

他们说: “如果你们 (被发现)是说谎者, 那你们将受什么惩罚?”

Italian

Dissero quelli: «Quale sarà allora la punizione per questo, se sarete trovati bugiardi?»

Spanish

Dijeron, “¿Cuál será pues el castigo si se comprueba que habéis dicho una mentira?”.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

انہوں نے کہا (کہ) اگر تم جھوٹے (ثابت) ہوئے تو اس (فعل یعنی چوری) کی سزا کیا ہوگی؟

English - Short Commentary Translation

They said, ‘What then shall be the punishment for it, if you are found to be liars?’

English - Five Volume Translation

They said, ‘What then shall be the punishment for it, if you are found to have told a lie?’

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

اُنہوں نے کہا "اچھا، اگر تمہاری بات جھوٹی نکلی تو چور کی کیا سزا ہے؟"

The accusers said, "Then what would be its recompense if you should be liars?"
