16:115

فَكُلُوا۟ مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ ٱللَّهُ حَلَٰلًا طَيِّبًا وَٱشْكُرُوا۟ نِعْمَتَ ٱللَّهِ إِن كُنتُمْ إِيَّاهُ تَعْبُدُونَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

So eat of the lawful and good things which Allah has provided for you; and be grateful for the bounty of Allah, if it is Him you worship.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

پس جو کچھ تمہیں اللہ نے رزق عطا کیا ہے اس میں سے حلال (اور) طیّب کھاؤ اور اللہ کی نعمت کا شکرادا کرو اگر تم اسی کی عبادت کرتے ہو۔

French

Aussi nourrissez-vous de ces choses licites et bonnes qu'Allāh vous a accordées ; et soyez reconnaissants pour les bienfaits d’Allāh, si c’est Lui que vous adorez.

German

So esset nun von den erlaubten guten Dingen, womit Allah euch versorgt hat; und seid dankbar für Allahs Huld, wenn Er es ist, Dem ihr dienet.

Chinese

如果你们只崇拜安拉, [c]那么, 你们要从我供养你们的东西中, 吃合法和美好的;[690]并感谢安拉的恩惠。

Così mangiate le cose lecite e buone di cui Allah vi ha provveduto; e siate riconoscenti per la grazia di Allah, se è Lui che adorate.

Comed pues de las cosas lícitas y buenas que Al-lah os ha proporcionado; y sed agradecidos ante la magnanimidad de Al-lah, si es a Él a Quien adoráis.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

پس جو حلال (اور) طیب (مال) اللہ نے تمہیں دیا ہے تم اس میں سے کھاؤ اور اللہ کی نعمت کا اگر تم اسی کی عبادت کرتے ہو شکر کرو۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

[b]So eat of the lawful and good[1584] things which Allah has provided for you; and be grateful for the bounty of Allah, if it is Him you worship.

Commentary:

In the preceding two verses the disbelievers of Mecca were threatened with hunger and fear and in the present verse the Faithful are promised security and plenty. The verse further points out that whereas disbelievers used all sorts of means—good or bad—to earn wealth, the earnings of the Faithful would be good and lawful, and because their lives would be free from fear and anxiety, the food they eat would help their physical and mental growth.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

پس اے لوگو، اللہ نے جو کچھ حلال اور پاک رزق تم کو بخشا ہے اُسے کھاؤ اور اللہ کے احسان کا شکر ادا کرو اگر تم واقعی اُسی کی بندگی کرنے والے ہو

English - Sahih

Then eat of what Allah has provided for you [which is] lawful and good. And be grateful for the favor of Allah, if it is [indeed] Him that you worship.

اردو ترجمہ احمد علی

پھر تمہیں جو الله نے حلال طیب روزی دی ہے کھاؤ اور الله کے احسان کا شکر کرو اگر تم صرف اسی کو پوجتے ہو

English - Talal Itani

So eat of what Allah has provided you - lawful and good. And be grateful (for the) Favor (of) Allah, if [you] Him Alone you worship.
