کہ تُو میری اتّباع نہ کرتا؟ پس کیا تو نے میرے حکم کی نافرمانی کی؟

Pour que tu ne me suives pas ? As-tu donc désobéi à mon commandement ? «

کہ تو میرے نقش قدم پر نہ چلے؟ کیا تو نے میرے حکم کی نافرمانی کی؟

English - Short Commentary Translation

‘From following me? Didst thou then disobey my command?’

‘From following me? Hast thou then disobeyed my command?’[2306]

Commentary:

Moses here severely calls Aaron to account for not having properly looked after the spiritual welfare of the Israelites in his absence. The verse thus clearly shows Aaron to be a subordinate Prophet to Moses.

تو کس چیز نے تمہارا ہاتھ پکڑا تھا کہ میرے طریقے پر عمل نہ کرو؟ کیا تم نے میرے حکم کی خلاف ورزی کی؟"
