قَالَ فَمَا خَطْبُكَ يَٰسَٰمِرِىُّ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

Moses said, ‘And what hast thou to say, O Samiri?’

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اس نے کہا پس اے سامری! تیرا کیا معاملہ ہے؟

Moïse dit : « Et toi, qu’as-tu à dire, ô Sāmirī ? »

German

(Moses) sprach: "Und was hast du zu sagen, o Sâmirî?"

Chinese

他 (穆撒) 说: “萨米里啊! 究竟你是怎么一回事?”

Italian

Mosè disse: «E che cos'hai da dire tu, o Samiri?»

Spanish

Moisés dijo: “¿y qué tienes tú que decir, Oh Samiri?”.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

(اس پر موسیٰ سامری سے مخاطب ہوئے اور) کہا اے سامری! تیرا کیا معاملہ ہے؟

English - Short Commentary Translation

Moses said, ‘And what then is thy plea,[1846] O Samiri?’

Khatb means, object; design; case or plea; business; affair; etc. (Lane). The whole sentence also means, what thou hast to say (Lane).

English - Five Volume Translation

Moses said, ‘And what hast thou to say, o Samiri?’[2308]

ماخطبک (what hast thou to say). خطب (khatbun) among other things may also mean, object, purpose, plea, defence etc. See also 12:52.

موسیٰؑ نے کہا "اور سامری، تیرا کیا معاملہ ہے؟"

[Moses] said, "And what is your case, O Samiri?"
