22:7

ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلْحَقُّ وَأَنَّهُۥ يُحْىِ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ وَأَنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

That is because Allah is the Truth, and that it is He Who brings the dead to life, and that He has power over all things;

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

یہ اس لئے ہے کہ یقیناً اللہ ہی حق ہے اور وہی ہے جو مُردوں کو زندہ کرتا ہے اور وہ یقیناً ہر چیز پر جسے وہ چاہے دائمی قدرت رکھتا ہے۔

French

C’est parce qu’Allāh est la Vérité, que c’est Lui Qui ramène les morts à la vie, et qu’Il a le pouvoir de faire tout ce qu’Il veut ;

German

Dies, weil Allah die Wahrheit ist und weil Er es ist, Der die Toten lebendig macht, und weil Er die Macht über alles hat;

Chinese

这是因为安拉自立立他, [d]给予死者生命, 他对于万物都是全能的。

Questo perché Allah è la verità, ed è Lui che fa rivivere i morti e che ha potere su tutte le cose,

Eso es porque Al-lah es la Verdad, y porque Él es Quien devuelve la vida a los muertos y tiene poder sobre todas las cosas;

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

یہ اس لئے ہوتا ہے کہ (ظاہر کیا جائے کہ) اللہ ہی قائم رہنے والی اور قائم رکھنے والی ہستی ہے اوروہ مردوں کو زندہ کرتا ہے اور ہر چیز پر قادر ہے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

That is because Allah is Self-Subsisting and All-Sustaining, and that [c]it is He Who brings the dead to life, and that He has power over all things;

English - Five Volume Translation

That is because Allah is the Truth, and that [a]it is He Who brings the dead to life, and that He has power over all things;[2442]

Commentary:

The verse purports to say that the inescapable inference from the preceding verse is (1) that God is الحق i.e. His existence is an established fact and He is the Creator Who creates according to the requirements of wisdom and justice; (2) that He infuses new life into a spiritually dead people and (3) that He has the power to do all things which are in accordance with His design and device and which fulfil His purpose.

The word الموتی (the dead) here specially signifies those who are spiritually dead. The physically dead are mentioned in the next verse.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

یہ سب کچھ اس وجہ سے ہے کہ اللہ ہی حق ہے، اور وہ مُردوں کو زندہ کرتا ہے، اور وہ ہر چیز پر قادر ہے،

English - Sahih

That is because Allah is the Truth and because He gives life to the dead and because He is over all things competent

یہ اس لیے ہے کہ الله ہی برحق ہے اور مردوں کو زندہ کرے گا اور وہ ہر بات پر قادر ہے

English - Talal Itani

That (is) because, Allah - He (is) the Truth. And that He [He] gives life (to) the dead, and that He (is) over every thing All-Powerful.
