24:48

وَیَقُوۡلُوۡنَ اٰمَنَّا بِاللّٰہِ وَبِالرَّسُوۡلِ وَاَطَعۡنَا ثُمَّ یَتَوَلّٰی فَرِیۡقٌ مِّنۡہُمۡ مِّنۡۢ بَعۡدِ ذٰلِکَ ۚ وَمَاۤ اُولٰٓئِکَ بِالۡمُؤۡمِنِیۡنَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And they say, ‘We believe in Allah and in the Messenger and we obey;’ then after that some of them turn away. But such are not believers.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اور وہ کہتے ہیں کہ ہم اللہ پر اور رسول پر ایمان لائے اور ہم نے اطاعت کی۔ پھر بھی ان میں سے ایک فریق اُس کے بعد پیٹھ پھیر کر چلا جاتا ہے اور یہ لوگ ہرگز مومن نہیں ہیں۔

French

Et ils disent : « Nous croyons en Allāh et au Messager, et Nous obéissons ; » puis après cela certains d’entre eux se détournent. Mais ceux-là ne sont pas croyants.

German

Sie sprechen: "Wir glauben an Allah und an den Gesandten, und wir gehorchen"; hierauf aber wenden sich einige von ihnen ab. Und dies sind keine Gläubigen.

他们说: “我们信仰安拉和使者并服从 (他们)。” 后来, 他们中的一伙人背叛了。这种人绝不是信仰者。

Italian

Ed essi dicono: «Noi crediamo in Allah, e nel messaggero, e obbediamo.» Quindi, dopo di questo, alcuni di essi volgono le spalle. Costoro non sono affatto credenti.

Spanish

Ellos dicen: "Creemos en Al‑lah y en el Mensajero y obedecemos"; después de eso, algunos de ellos se apartan. Pero ésos no son creyentes.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور وہ کہتے ہیں ہم اللہ اور اس کے رسول پر ایمان لائے‘ اور ہم نے اطاعت کا وعدہ کرلیا۔ پھر ان میں سے ایک گروہ اس کے بعد (اپنے اقرار سے) پھر جاتا ہے۔ اور ایسے لوگ ہرگز مومن نہیں۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

And they say, ‘We believe in Allah and in the Messenger, and we obey;’ then after that some of them turn away. Such are not believers at all.

English - Five Volume Translation

And they say, ‘We believe in Allah and in the Messenger, and we obey;’ then after that some of them turn away. But such are not believers.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

یہ لوگ کہتے ہیں کہ ہم ایمان لائے اللہ اور رسولؐ پر اور ہم نے اطاعت قبول کی، مگر اس کے بعد ان میں سے ایک گروہ (اطاعت سے) منہ موڑ جاتا ہے ایسے لوگ ہرگز مومن نہیں ہیں

English - Sahih

But the hypocrites say, "We have believed in Allah and in the Messenger, and we obey"; then a party of them turns away after that. And those are not believers.

اردو ترجمہ احمد علی

اور کہتے ہیں ہم الله اور رسول پرایمان لائے اور ہم فرمانبردار ہو گئے پھر ایک گروہ ان میں سے اس کے بعد پھر جاتا ہے اور وہ لوگ مومن نہیں ہیں

English - Talal Itani

And they say, "We believe in Allah and in the Messenger and we obey." Then turns away a party of them after that. And not those (are) believers.

They say, 'We believe in God and the Messenger, and we obey.' Then after that a party of them turn away; those -- they are not believers.

These people say "We have believed in Allah and the Messenger and we have submitted"; but soon after this, some of them turn away (from obedience): such people are not true Believers.

They say they believe in God and the Prophet, and have come to believe, yet a section of them turns back even after this; and these are not believers.
