فَاَخَذَہُمُ الۡعَذَابُ ۗ اِنَّ فِیۡ ذٰلِکَ لَاٰیَۃً ۖ وَّمَا کَانَ اَکۡثَرُہُمۡ مُّؤۡمِنِیۡنَ

So the punishment overtook them. In that verily there is a Sign, but most of these would not believe.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

پس انہیں عذاب نے آپکڑا۔ یقیناً اس میں ایک بہت بڑا نشان ہے اور ان میں سے اکثر ایمان لانے والے نہیں تھے۔

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

تب ان کو (موعود[2]) عذاب نے آپکڑا۔ اس میں یقیناً ایک بہت بڑا نشان تھا لیکن ان میں سے اکثر مومنوں میں شریک نہ ہوئے۔

اَلْ کے معنے موعود کے کیے گئے ہیں۔
