28:55

أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ يُؤْتَوْنَ أَجْرَهُم مَّرَّتَيْنِ بِمَا صَبَرُوا۟ وَيَدْرَءُونَ بِٱلْحَسَنَةِ ٱلسَّيِّئَةَ وَمِمَّا رَزَقْنَٰهُمْ يُنفِقُونَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

These will be given their reward twice, for they have been steadfast and they repel evil with good, and spend out of what We have given them.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

یہی وہ لوگ ہیں جو دو مرتبہ اپنا اجر دئیے جائیں گے بسبب اس کے کہ انہوں نے صبر کیا اور وہ بھلائی کے ساتھ برائی کو دور کرتے ہیں اور جو کچھ ہم انہیں عطا کرتے ہیں وہ اس میں سے خرچ کرتے ہیں۔

French

Ceux-ci recevront leur récompense à deux reprises, car ils ont été endurants, et ils repoussent le mal par le bien, et dépensent de ces dons et richesses que Nous leur avons accordés.

German

Diese werden ihren Lohn zweimal erhalten, weil sie standhaft waren und das Böse abwehren durch das Gute und spenden von dem, was Wir ihnen gegeben haben.

Chinese

这些人将获得两次报偿, 因为他们坚忍、[a]以善止恶、并[b]施舍我所赐给他们的 (东西)。

23:5.

Italian

Costoro riceveranno doppia ricompensa, perché sono stati saldi, e respingono il male con il bene e dispensano di ciò che Noi abbiamo dato loro.

Spanish

Éstos recibirán su recompensa dos veces, por haber sido perseverantes y haber combatido el mal con el bien, y gastado de lo que les dimos.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

ان لوگوں کو ان کا بدلہ ان کے صبر[2] کی وجہ سے دو [3]دفعہ ملے گا اور وہ نیکی سے بدی کا مقابلہ کرتے ہیں اور جو کچھ ہم نے ان کو دیا ہے اس کو خرچ کرتے ہیں۔

صَبَرُوْا یعنی وہ پہلی تعلیم یعنی تورات پر بھی قائم رہے اور قرآن مجید پر بھی ایمان لائے۔

یعنی اس دنیا میں بھی اور اگلے جہان میں بھی۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

These will be given their reward twice, for they have been steadfast,[2223] and [a]they repel evil with good. and [b]spend out of what We have given them.

13:23; 23:97; 41:35.

23:5.

Such persons from among the 'People of the Book' as believe in the Qur’an will have double reward for the belief both in the Torah and the Qur’an and also for suffering patiently for the cause of Truth.

English - Five Volume Translation

These will be given their reward twice, for they have been steadfast and [b]they repel evil with good, and spend out of what We have given them.[2916]

Commentary:

The verse means to say that such persons from among the "People of the Book" as believe in the Quran will have double reward for the belief both in the Torah and the Quran and also for suffering patiently for the cause of truth and for their perseverance and steadfastness under trials and tribulations.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

یہ وہ لوگ ہیں جنہیں ان کا اجر دو بار دیا جائے گا اُس ثابت قدمی کے بدلے جو انہوں نے دکھائی وہ بُرائی کو بھَلائی سے دفع کرتے ہیں اور جو کچھ رزق ہم نے انہیں دیا ہے اس میں سے خرچ کرتے ہیں

English - Sahih

Those will be given their reward twice for what they patiently endured and [because] they avert evil through good, and from what We have provided them they spend.

یہ وہ لوگ ہیں جنہیں ان کے صبر کی وجہ سے دگنا بدلہ ملے گا اوربھلائی سے برائی کو دور کرتے ہیں اور جو ہم نےانہیں دیا ہے اس میں سےخرچ کرتے ہیں

Those will be given their reward twice because they are patient and they repel with good - the evil and from what We have provided them they spend.

صَبَرُوْا یعنی وہ پہلی تعلیم یعنی تورات پر بھی قائم رہے اور قرآن مجید پر بھی ایمان لائے۔
