30:48

وَلَقَدۡ اَرۡسَلۡنَا مِنۡ قَبۡلِکَ رُسُلًا اِلٰی قَوۡمِہِمۡ فَجَآءُوۡہُمۡ بِالۡبَیِّنٰتِ فَانۡتَقَمۡنَا مِنَ الَّذِیۡنَ اَجۡرَمُوۡا ۖ وَکَانَ حَقًّا عَلَیۡنَا نَصۡرُ الۡمُؤۡمِنِیۡنَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And surely We sent Messengers before thee to their own people, and they brought them clear Signs. Then We punished those who were guilty. And it was certainly due from Us to help the believers.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اوریقیناً ہم نے تجھ سے پہلے کئی رسولوں کو اُنکی قوم کی طرف بھیجا۔ پس وہ ان کے پاس کھلے کھلے نشانات لے کر آئے تو ہم نے ان سے جنہوں نے جرم کئے انتقام لیا اور ہم پر مومنوں کی مدد کرنا فرض ٹھہرتا تھا۔

French

Et assurément, avant toi Nous avons envoyé des Messagers à leurs propres peuples. Et ils leur ont apporté des signes clairs. Ensuite Nous avons châtié sans ménagement ceux qui étaient coupables. Et il Nous incombait certainement de venir en aide aux croyants.

Wir schickten schon Gesandte vor dir zu ihrem eigenen Volk. Sie brachten ihnen klare Beweise. Dann straften Wir die Schuldigen; und es oblag Uns, den Gläubigen zu helfen.

Chinese

我在你之前, 曾派遣使者们到他们的民族那里。那些使者对他们显示了明显的迹象。然后我给犯罪的人 (适当的) 惩罚。[b]至于帮助信仰的人, 那原是我的责任。

E per certo, Noi inviammo messaggeri prima di te al loro stesso popolo, a portar loro chiari segni. Quindi punimmo quelli che erano colpevoli. E competeva certamente a Noi aiutare i credenti.

Spanish

En verdad enviamos Mensajeros antes de ti a sus propios pueblos, y les llevaron Signos claros. Después castigamos rotundamente a los culpables. Y ciertamente era obligación Nuestra ayudar a los creyentes.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور ہم نے تجھ سے پہلے کئی رسول ان کی قوموں کی طرف بھیجے تھے پس وہ ان کے پاس کھلے کھلے نشان لے کر آئے اور ہم نے مجرموں سے مناسب بدلہ لیا‘ اور مومنوں کی مدد کرنا ہمارا فرض ہے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

اور ہم نے تم سے پہلے رسُولوں کو ان کی قوم کی طرف بھیجا اور وہ ان کے پاس روشن نشانیاں لے کر آئے، پھر جنہوں نے جرم کیا اُن سے ہم نے انتقام لیا اور ہم پر یہ حق تھا کہ ہم مومنوں کی مدد کریں

English - Sahih

And We have already sent messengers before you to their peoples, and they came to them with clear evidences; then We took retribution from those who committed crimes, and incumbent upon Us was support of the believers.

اردو ترجمہ احمد علی

اور ہم تم سے پہلے کتنے رسول اپنی اپنی قوم کے پاس بھیج چکے ہیں سو ان کے پاس نشانیاں لے کر آئے پھر ہم نے ان سے بدلہ لیا جو گناہگار تھے اور مومنوں کی مدد ہم پر لازم تھی

English - Arberry

Indeed, We sent before thee Messengers unto their people, and they brought them the clear signs; then We took vengeance upon those who sinned; and it was ever a duty incumbent upon Us, to help the believers.

English - Maududi

We sent Messengers before you to their respective nations, and they brought Clear Signs to them. Then We took vengeance upon those who acted wickedly. It was incumbent on Us to come to the aid of the believers.

English - Ahmed Ali

Verily We sent many apostles before you to their people, who brought clear signs with them. Then We retributed those who were sinful. It is a duty incumbent on Us to help the believers.

We did indeed send, before thee, messengers to their (respective) peoples, and they came to them with Clear Signs: then, to those who transgressed, We meted out Retribution: and it was due from Us to aid those who believed.
