33:64

یَسۡـَٔلُکَ النَّاسُ عَنِ السَّاعَۃِ ۖ قُلۡ اِنَّمَا عِلۡمُہَا عِنۡدَ اللّٰہِ ۚ وَمَا یُدۡرِیۡکَ لَعَلَّ السَّاعَۃَ تَکُوۡنُ قَرِیۡبًا

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

Men ask thee concerning the Hour. Say, ‘The knowledge of it is with Allah alone.’ And what will make thee know that the Hour may be nigh?

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

لوگ تجھ سے ساعت کے متعلق پوچھتے ہیں تُو کہہ دے کہ اس کا علم صرف اللہ کے پاس ہے۔ اور تجھے کیا چیز سمجھائے کہ شاید ساعت قریب ہو۔

French

Les gens t’interrogent au sujet de l’Heure. Dis : « La connaissance en est avec Allāh Seul. » Et comment peux-tu savoir – il se peut que l’Heure soit proche ?

German

Die Menschen befragen dich über die "Stunde". Sprich: "Das Wissen um sie ist allein bei Allah", und wie kannst du wissen? Vielleicht ist die "Stunde" nahe.

[b]人们问你关于 “(那个) 时候” (的到来), 你说: “只有安拉知道它 (的到来)。” 你怎会知道, 也许 “那时候” 就要接近了?

La gente t'interroga sull'Ora. Di': «Soltanto Allah ne ha conoscenza.» E che cosa ti fa sapere che l'Ora potrebbe essere vicina?

Los hombres te preguntan sobre la Hora. Diles: “Su conocimiento corresponde sólo a Al‑lah”. ¿Y qué te dará a conocer que la Hora está próxima?

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

لوگ تجھ سے خاتمہ کر دینے والی گھڑی کے متعلق پوچھتے ہیں تو کہہ دے کہ اس کا علم صرف اللہ کو ہے اور تم کو یہ بات کیا معلوم کہ شاید وہ گھڑی قریب ہی ہو۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

[a]People ask thee concerning the Hour. Say, ‘The knowledge of it is with Allah alone.’ And what will make thee know that the Hour may be nigh?

7:188; 78:3.

English - Five Volume Translation

[b]Men ask thee concerning the Hour. Say, ‘The knowledge of it is with Allah alone.’ And what will make thee know that the Hour may be nigh?[3123]

7:188; 79:43.

Commentary:

In verse 25 the disbelievers and hypocrites were warned that they would be punished. In the present verse they are told that the time of their punishment has drawn very near. The reference in "the Hour" may be to the Battle of the Ditch.

لوگ تم سے پوچھتے ہیں کہ قیامت کی گھڑی کب آئے گی کہو، اُس کا علم تو اللہ ہی کو ہے تمہیں کیا خبر، شاید کہ وہ قریب ہی آ لگی ہو

English - Sahih

People ask you concerning the Hour. Say," Knowledge of it is only with Allah. And what may make you perceive? Perhaps the Hour is near."

آپ سے لوگ قیامت کے متعلق پوچھتے ہیں کہہ دو اس کا علم تو صرف الله ہی کو ہے اور اپ کو کیا خبر کہ شاید قیامت قریب ہی ہو

Ask you the people about the Hour. Say, "Only its knowledge (is) with Allah. And what will make you know? Perhaps the Hour is near."
